We had been searching for quite some time for the perfect preowned Jeep. After many months and many dealerships, we finally realized that the only way... to get exactly what we wanted in a Jeep, was to order it new. And just the thought of a NEW vehicle made my wallet shrivel up! But, we decided to do it! Since we had been looking at various places around Northwest Indiana, and even some Illinois dealerships, we already knew we wanted to go to Bosak in Merrillville for this. This was literally the ONLY place we felt at home. They made us comfortable, they weren't pushy or just trying to make a sale, and we knew they actually were trying to HELP us find what we wanted. They were committed to us. I'm so happy we finally made our purchase! It was so smooth and now I have an even smoother new ride! :) I highly recommend them. Even for the preowned!!!! Thanks Bosak!
Good staff at Bosak. Obie, Nick and Joe all very pleasant and helpful to work with. Given my situation, they were very helpful during the process.
thank you doug for the great service on the sale of my corvette
Best experience ever. Very kind, knowledgeable, got me exactly what I asked for and even purchased my old vehicle from me. Everyone was extremely friendly... and put my mind at ease for what would normally be a stressful situation. Couldn’t be more pleased!
Thanks so much for a great experience . They were very friendly and had the best price of everywhere we looked. Their knowledge of the Jeep was the best... by far
Thank you Dennis Zajac! He was very friendly and not pushy. Great person to work with. I appreciate your help with the purchase of my jeep.
Great, friendly, low-pressure sales people. I would go back to them again, and I will most likely make the drive to have servicing done there, too.
Chris was a great salesperson to deal with. Very professional and friendly. No high pressure sales tactics!! Nanci in the Finance office was a pleasure... to work with....once again no high pressure tactics to force me to purchase GAP insurance or extended warranty. The entire staff at Bosak is very friendly!!
I found the car online called them to see if it was still available since I was coming out of state. I was helped by Ed C. he was very good to work with,... he wasn’t pushy took his time to keep me posted and answered all my questions. Overall it was a good experience.
Bosak service sucks. While driving 2013 Dart car stopped moving, dashboard indicator said transmission failure. Had the car towed to Bosak November 9 since... that was where it was purchased. The problem turned out o be a ground fault. Went to picked up the car November 17 only to find new problems Lights would not come on in auto setting and the passenger air bag failure indicated on dash. Billed for 4 hours to correct a ground fault $600.00 labor plus other fees. The service representative put cardboard over the sensor to simulate night driving but problem would not correct. The aside one of the mechanics said to another scheduler not mine "I want them to think I changed the Module" To say something like that is amazing, but in front of a customer unbelievable. One can only imagine this must be a common practice. I left the car. Numerous calls told the light problem was not real, turns out sometime it works sometimes does not, can't imagine how long it would take to find this kind of problem. In regards to the airbag indicator they changed the wiring harness no success changed the air bag no success another air bag no success new wiring harness problem solved. Looked up on google indicated most likely wiring problem. $360.00 labor plus air bag $190.00 most likely not needed, Picked up the car November 21. 49,000 miles no warrantee final billing$760.37 November 17 $640.39 November 24. I have been driving numerous Chrysler products since 1965. Brought the car to Bosak thinking I would benefit from technical skills, but in the end it seems I got a part changer at $125 and hour. Sadly my faith in the car or the dealer was greatly diminished.
The vehicle was towed into our Dealership, because the engine would run but would not move. The diagnosis led to a transmission wiring issue. We start...ed tracing wiring from the transmission to the Transmission Control Module. We found a broken ground wire in a loom with several wires. We performed the ground wire repair, and the transmission now went into gear. The repair was very complex. Most repair shops charge time and material for wiring repairs. This particular repair took over 4 hours to repair. We charged the customer 4 hours of labor. The customer came to pick up their vehicle and they had another issue develop. The air bag light was on. The code present was for the right hand seat air bag. The air bag had an open circuit. Both seat air bag wiring harnesses that go to the seat air bag had to replaced, as well as the air bag to fix the concern. While the customer was in, he overheard a conversation with another technician and advisor. The technician told the advisor that he had to trick a module to make it think that it had been replaced, so we could program the module. The customer assumed that we were talking about tricking a customer, that was not the case. The types of issues the customer had were not common issues. We had FCA engineering involved with both repairs. I understand frustration with having to pay for these types of repairs, but they are very time consuming and require much skill to perform the repairs correctly. We tried our best to discount the labor amount as well as the price of the airbag, because we understand our customer’s frustration. We appreciate all of our customer’s business, and strive really hard to provide a great experience.
