Villiage Ford
I took my Escape in for repair. I made an appointment and waited a few weeks before they could get my vehicle in. My expectation was that they would look at the vehicle the same day. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. They waited a few days before they even looked at it. I looked into the repair that was needed. It was real apparent from the YouTube video that I looked at, that this was a common repair and they were charging an exorbitant amount of money for a fairly simple repair. Additionally , I was told that the part was not available & it may not be available for days or weeks. I bought the part on-line and had it in two days. They replaced a recall item and I was pleased with that repair. After waiting a week, I paid the diagnostic on the other repair and will save $200 by having another mechanic put it in.

Overpriced Accessories
Bought a new bronco from village last week. Great price until they added a bunch of accessories that were marked up 7-10 times what the actual ford site sold them for. ($300 sun visor at $40 value for example) Explained to me that these items were in the original order, but doesn?t show on the sticker as options. Also explained that I had to take the accessories in order to buy the bronco. I tried to eliminate several if not all the options but the manager told me ?you have to take all the options or we?ll find someone else that will, we have 4 more people willing to pay for them.? Customer service at its best! Asked for a copy of the accessories the original day, 5 days prior to actually picking up, but the said scanner was broken. Told them to take pic and text, but they kept misdirecting. Then finally when we went to trade in current vehicle, 1.5hr drive btw, they came in with a lower trade in from what we discussed by $1500! Explained price dropped in two days. After 4 hours of dealing with all this at the dealership we were thirsty. Drinking fountains shut off. Asked sales associate about it and they said if u want a water there is a vending machine around the corner, front desk has change if u need it. Priceless. Love how they have all their awards plastered all over the place for exemplary customer service. Ford is blind to what is going on with the dealerships selling their vehicles.
