Synopsis: Avoid this dealership.

Synopsis: Avoid this dealership. We purchased a used car from your dealership. On the day of our purchase, we noticed a strange smell coming from the back tire of the car. We immediately took it back to your dealership the next morning when you were open. However, two days later we were told that the issue could not be replicated and the smell may be due to the new brakes that were put on. We trusted your team and decided to take the car home two days later. We did find it odd that the odometer was not far off from what we had purchased it with despite being told it was driven 30 miles. However, the smell continued for several weeks and my husband took the car to Firestone to get it looked at. To our surprise, Firestone showed us that the caliper was locking up by simply spraying water on the caliper of each tire. The back passenger tire started boiling when it was sprayed. We were shocked that such a major issue was missed by your service department, especially after the breaks had been replaced. We contacted your dealership and explained the situation. We dropped the car off and made sure to take a photo of the odometer before leaving it with you again. Your team called us the next day and informed us that they could not replicate the issue again. They asked to keep the car for another day, which we reluctantly agreed to. However, the next day, we were told that the issue could still not be replicated. When we picked up the car, we noticed that it had only been driven for a total of 15 miles in two days, even though we were assured that it would be driven for at least 30 minutes on the second day. This experience has been extremely frustrating for us, as we trusted your dealership to provide us with a reliable and safe car. However, your service department has failed to address the issue and offer any solutions. We are disappointed that your team had the car for a total of four days and yet, could not provide us with a satisfactory outcome. We strongly advise others to avoid your dealership at all costs, as the service provided by your service department does not appear concerned with the safety of their customers and could not be bothered to drive the distance they promised to replicate a safety concern. We hope that you take this incident seriously and take necessary steps to improve the quality of your service. As customers, we deserve better treatment and solutions to our problems.

I’m a young guy, rates are high now and yet, they gave me

I’m a young guy, rates are high now and yet, they gave me a great rate with special financing. No haggling, and almost a couple thousand off a brand new Mazda 3 Hatchback Carbon. So far it’s an amazing car and my salesman Ubaldo did an awesome job selling me the car. There was no pressure to buy it, I never once felt obligated to continue in the buying process, even though I knew I wanted the car already. Overall 10/10.

People!

People! If you are car shopping, this is who you need to talk to. He is amazing. Super knowledgeable--he's worked with cars in multiple capacities. He is patient, smart, totally not pushy. He will answer your endless list of questions and do everything in his power to help you. He's the gem you've been looking for. It didn't work out for me because of my mistake, but that doesn't mean I won't be back, or that I won't recommend him to others. Highly recommend!

Biggers Mazda in Elgin I truly dislike the service

Biggers Mazda in Elgin I truly dislike the service department through the years!! I had a previous CX5 and kept thinking I don’t want another Mazda because of this dealership. They treat women disrespectfully and basically want you to not say a word and accept lousy service and faulty “genuine faulty parts”. Women have a brain and know when the quality is substandard. But I decided to purchase the CX50 turbo and I love my SUV but I had another negative issue with Biggers Mazda. I paid almost $400 for Biggers of Elgin, to install new mud-flaps on my CX50. My mistake was not actually checking the mud-flaps and installation after completion. After hiking yesterday with my son, I realized I have debris stuck inside of the mudflaps- leaves and dirt. Anyway, I looked closely at the front mud-flaps and they are not tight against the SUV. The back mud flaps are secure and tight- just like in my old CX5 were. So I drove over to Biggers Mazda in Elgin and they took it back. After a half hour it was “fixed” and I could go. I look at the mud-flaps and they were not taken off and reinstalled. I ask why they didn’t fix them and I was told they are fine. They are not fine in the front. I don’t want a gap where all this debris will accumulate. Imagine over time what a mess that would be?? The service man said nothing we can do about it. I told him I am not okay paying almost $400 and they are junk. It looks like crap on my almost 40K car! I asked for the service manager and he told me the same thing- this is the way they are suppose to be! He was acting like I am some idiot and would just accept it. The manager talked down to me and was rude. I showed him how they separate and loose from the car. He then says stop pulling them. I told him the back ones are secure and you can’t pull them open. The car wash and driving will make it even worse. The mud-flaps should be secure!! I told him this and he asked me if I was done? I then looked at him in the eye and asked him if he was done!! I can’t believe he talked to me that way! Imagine being talked to like that!! There is no way he would have talked to a man like that. I told him I want my money back then because they look awful and over time it would hurt the car. The service manager of Biggers Mazda told me he will order new mud-flaps and I can come back for installation when they are in. I will have to deal with Biggers Mazda for the next four years and I do not want to. However, the other Mazda dealers are over 40 minutes from where I live. I will keep posting as needed. Biggers Mazda in Elgin is a big thumbs down. I love Mazda’s— too bad this dealership can’t treat a woman equal to a man. If you have defective parts or installation or service was not correct. Admit it and not just tell the woman she is SOL and have to deal with it.

Mazda Purchase

Very easy process to purchase my new Mazda. Sales were excellent and very attentive to my questions. I felt no sales pressure at any time during the purchase. Tom is an excellent sales person and I would definitely return to this dealership.

Expensive dealership

I waisted my time with them, they had a bad customer service, same car year and model with the same trim and mileage was 3k cheaper in another dealership, I asked them to bring the price down even if it still 1k more because I liked the interior color but they refused like they don't want someone to buy from them!! so I don't recommend them.

I initially faced some issues while working on a deal; however, Mike Lucier, the Sales Manager, not once but multiple times tried his best to straighten things out and make me feel comfortable & welcome. Big thanks to Mike & Bigger's for ensuring that guests & customers feel welcomed at the store!

Franco and the staff at Biggers are fantastic!

Franco and the staff at Biggers are fantastic! When I first went to test drive cars and see what I liked, Franco didn’t pressure me or make me feel rushed at all. I was honest that I was going to a few Kia dealers to test more cars before making my decision and he was so kind and told me to let him know whatever I decide. Every dealership I went to after was pressuring me, wouldn’t let me speak for myself and trying to have me pay more than I was comfortable with. I knew that, going with Franco at Biggers, I would be treated respectfully and not be pressured in my decisions. They gave me a great trade in value for my previous vehicle and the process was so smooth. Their whole staff was wonderful and they are a very honest dealership just looking to help you get the best vehicle for you. I will always recommend them, especially Franco!
