Vicksburg went Above & beyond!

I had a very positive experience with this dealership. I purchased my Jeep brand new from Hayes in Kalamazoo a little over a year ago. I had less that 10k mile on my Jeep when a faulty water pump gave out. I was really upset and we had a trip planned in a few weeks. My vehicle was not drivable. I contacted the dealership where I bought my Jeep and they told me they were not going to be able to get me in the shop for 4-6 weeks and they were unable to provide me a loaner vehicle! Vicksburg got me in right away and even provided me with a free loaner vehicle. I was originally told it could take 4 weeks before I even got the water pump due to the crazy supply chain issues and shortages of parts. Vicksburg shopped around and were able to get me a water pump in about a week because they worked hard knowing I wanted my Jeep for my planned trip. They went out of their way to do what Hayes was not willing to do. I highly recommend Vicksburg if you want good customer service and maintenance after purchase. I will purchase my next vehicle from Vicksburg.

Not a Good Dealership to Use

A good friend/roommate purchased a used pickup there. Salesman lied to him about the truck and how great their dealership is. The truck has had one problem after another. Hasn't been able to drive it much. Owes on it. Money is tight so has to work on it himself. He contacted the dealership a couple times and no one responded to him. They knew money was tight and he needed a reliable vehicle. There was more than 1 bad employee but don't remember their names, just remember the salesman's name.

Great & friendly staff. When we got our new van home it was having a minor technical issue with the entertainment system. They came to our house nearly 90 minutes away with an identical new van and switched us out! That was above and beyond anything we were expecting.

This dealership does not have any true care of their clientele coming here or maintaining their customers. They speak down to you if you have questions and never respond once sale is done. They had promised three things to us that they should done to the truck on the day we pick it up cleaned out, fixed mirror, and topped gas. Did not follow through on any of it. To back their broken promises they said they would have mirrors shipped. Few months out still nothing. These might be small things but to be putting your trust and hard money into a place you would expect them to follow through. Also truck has had to go in to be fixed a few times now. Seriously absolutely terrible place and needs to be avoided at all cost. There are dealerships throughout Kalamazoo that take care of their customers because they actually care to have returning and word to mouth customers. I have redirected a few family members now away from here. Kalamazoo is not that big drive the 20 mins distance.

Rude

Tried to see if my part was under warranty was met with a rude guy who literally said he was going to take his Time findings out and that he had till 6 to do it. He said I was playing jeckle and Hyde with him and essentially refused to help me. All I said was I was looking for a part under warranty and he proceeded to try and make me feel stupid.

This place has terrible communication skills and is uncoordinated by far. I want to have an oil change done and ask for tire rotation. They charged me for a tire rotation and on my way out I asked the question about a sound admin hearing on a back tire and the guy realized he charged me for tire rotation when they never actually rotated the tires because the trade was worn so bad they could not legally rotate the tires. So they almost charged me $30 and ripped me off for a service they said they did and did not even perform. Also when I went to have new tires bought and put on the car and have a few parts fixed they quoted me a certain amount and when I got there it was higher than they quoted me, then it took the guy 10 minutes to do the math to figure out what was wrong. I finally get to go pay for the service and they did not have a debit card ship reader, so I had to run back to my bank and get cash. For buying a 2010 Dodge Challenger there and having only 38,000 miles on it a few things have gone wrong way earlier than they should have, I do not recommend this place for service or getting parts or tires or anything fixed. They do not have their stuff together, they need significant improvement on communication and coordination skills. And when they overcharged me for the tire rotation they didn't even do it till 2 days to go back on my card, and also I gave the payment cashier $10 down towards my bill and tried to run my card and it was declined and when I went to get money out of my ATM I went back and she forgot to give me my $10 or put it towards the bill so now I have to wait the whole weekend till Monday to go and take it up with them and try to get my $10 back. Don't seek this place for repairs or service they are amateurs at best and poor customer satisfaction on my experience.

This is, by far, the best dealership I've been to. Ever....

This is, by far, the best dealership I've been to. Ever. No one hounding you as soon as they see you, no one breathing down your neck to buy buy buy. Literally checked out the car I wanted, walked in and was immediately brought back and met with Todd and discussed what I liked about it and then boom I decided I wanted it, and walked out with the keys, without any buyer remorse or feeling like I just got robbed. Not going anywhere else ever again.
