I purchased a new EcoSport , 2 major repairs involving

I purchased a new EcoSport , 2 major repairs involving transmission repairs and now full replacement while under 34k miles/under warranty. I purchased my car from Seelye Ford in Kalamazoo, no help with loaner or rental whatsoever and my car still had issues after the repair. I started using Dorrance Ford in Galesburg, after several complaints for discriminatory language/practices- Dorrance finally put me in a loaner ... only they thought it was appropriate to use a car without reliable brakes, no working horn and an active check engine light on. The car was filthy, smoked out with pet hair and stains all over. I moved my car somewhere else. I’m afraid if they can’t diagnose issues on their loaner, how can I trust them to fix my car?

Horrible customer service.

On Monday November 20th, just days before thanksgiving , I stopped by the dealership as my f150 had an engine light on indicating a misfire in number 3. The vehicle would shudder when driving and was hoping they might be able to help me out. Thankfully I wasn’t a traveler off the highway trying to get to a holiday location. I arrived about 10 minutes before they opened but saw a service advisor had the lights on and door open. I went in and spoke with a service advisor I recognized from the dealership when in was on M96. I explained my situation and he immediately said “nothing he can do” and suggested maybe the next week or week after that they might get time. He didn’t care one bit about my truck or circumstance. I thought he could have said leave the vehicle and if we have a cancellation maybe we can look at your truck. That wasn’t an option and he was short with me and seemed to busy getting out to a vehicle that was pulled in the service bay. I asked if he had any suggestions and said go somewhere else. I limped the truck to Lakeview Ford in Battle Creek. What a difference a dealership makes. Lakeview Ford was kind and concerned about my truck and said leave the truck and hopefully we can get it in and see what we can do. They provided a courtesy ride to get me to work. Lakeview Ford called in the early afternoon of that Monday and said they slipped it in and said they could take care of the issue. I have a bumper to bumper extended warranty which covered part of the repairs. They also suggested additional service and of course I had them do the service work. Sorry that Dorrence Ford has such horrible customer service. Likely never to shop there for my next F-150 nor recommend them to anyone.

Comfortable waiting area. Offered beverages.

Bought a car from them on sat. Great customer service. Everyone of the staff were very helpful and went over and beyond to answer any questions I had. Thank you Rodney for making it easy and quick.

A good experience all around!

My experience with Dorrance Ford was not only satisfying, but also refreshing. We had been in the market for a new truck for about six months. We had been unable to find what we were looking for at several other dealerships. If we did find one, the dealership was either, not participating with a discount I have offered through my employer in conjunction with Ford Motor company, or they were tacking on up to $6,000.00 to the MSRP! I was relieved to find that at Dorrance Ford I did not encounter either of those situations. In fact, I was able to afford a truck that was a few steps up from what I had been prepared to buy at another dealership. I dealt with Mike Chamberlin as a salesman, Lewis Lambert in financing, both of whom left me with a measure of gratitude for their integrity, and helpfulness. we have not purchased a new car in about 35 years, so to say we were not accustomed to the practice is an understatement. With the help of Mike and Lewis, we felt very confident, as well as very informed in our decision making. At Dorrance Ford you get their best price the first time, and it will likely be the best price from any other dealers you may be working with. All costs are put forward in the proposed deal, no surprises when you are signing the papers. After the sale we met Bill Dorrance, and Tim Garret in the service department. We felt comfortable after meeting them that the sale of the vehicle was not the end, but the beginning of a good relationship where the dealership as a whole seems to be genuinely determined to make the experience a positive one in every aspect. Go ahead and shop around if you think you need to, but I would not recommend buying a vehicle until you have visited with the the good people down at Dorrance ford. If you end up not buying a vehicle from them at least you will have met some good people who are passionate about doing their job well.

GREAT SERVICE!

Purchased my dream car a 2021 Shelby GT500. Best customer service I have ever received. Austin my sales person was AWESOME helped me clean out my old car and tried to listen to my crazy counter offers haha. The finance manager Lewis was amazing he fought with Ford Credit to get me the best possible rate and did not pressure me into getting some of the dumb extra warranties. Bill the dealer manager was very professional and even took me to the gas station himself to put 93 on my new GT500.

Mike Chamberlin was more helpful than ever!

Mike Chamberlin was not only a good salesperson and provided exceptional service, but offered services that are not usually the concern of the salesperson. Mike responded to our email with information about a vehicle that we had seen online, but it turned out not to have all the features that we wanted. Mike asked for our criteria then went about searching for this vehicle. He succeeded after finding the vehicle in another state about 8 1/2 hours/600 miles away. He made arrangements and got the vehicle to Dorrance Ford in Galesburg, MI. Galesburg is about 3 hours/160 miles round trip for us to drive to Dorrance Ford. Mike gave us home delivery after he also offered to get the duplicate title that we needed for our trade-in vehicle. We had our new vehicle and Mike drove our trade-in vehicle back to Dorrance Ford. These services were really appreciated, especially since we are all dealing with Covid-19. What a pleasant experience Mike provided. We'd highly recommend that you check with Mike Chamberlin if you are looking for a Ford product.
