Amazing service crew, they were detailed, fast, and beyond helpful. The pricing is honest and reasonable unlike most places. I definitely recommend especially if you’ve purchased your vehicle through them.

This dealership sold an elderly woman on disability $2K

This dealership sold an elderly woman on disability $2K OVER KBB, the car was driven under 400 miles and broke down now needing a new transmission that is almost what she paid for the car. I asked the owner (Rusty) if there was anything that could be done to help her get a running vehicle, he said they would consider paying a percentage of the repair. So I called back to let him know the price we were quoted and he now says he won’t help fix this situation. He did leave a reply to my Google review where he lied and said they would repair it. Sir, if that was the offer I wouldn’t be leaving this review! Do BETTER! She’s stuck without a car AND money because of this situation. Rusty, we’ll take you up on your offer”offer” from your Google response, do what you said!! Do NOT recommend this dealership for the way this situation has been (not) handled.

Dealer response

Amanda, your Mother purchased a 2010 Nissan Altima with 165,000 miles on it on October 7th of this year. We sold the vehicle as-is, no warranty expressed or implied. The buyers guide on the window stated the vehicle would be sold as-is. On 4 separate documents it clearly stated that we were selling the vehicle AS-IS, No Warranty Expressed or Implied. Your Mother reviewed and signed all 4 documents. When you called last week, I did offer that if the car where brought to our facility that we would discount the cost of the repair. You stated, the vehicle is in Grand Rapids. You got an estimate to have the transmission replaced for $6700 from a service center in the Grand Rapids area. I stated that we would work with you to save some monies from that estimate, as a good faith jesture, even though we did sell the car "as-is". You called back earlier this week and said you had an estimate to have the transmission rebuilt for $3650. I told you it sounded like a fair price that the other facility was quoting to rebuild the transmission. We don't rebuild Nissan transmission, so I told you it sounded like you got a fair price and I encouraged you to have that shop repair the transmission. We have sold cars in our community for 50 years. You can not do that by treating customers as you imply we do in your review. We did not take advantage of your family. a 14 year old vehicle with 165,000 miles had a mechanical failure. It's disappointing to everyone that this took place, but we did nothing wrong. We did not misrepresent the car. We clearly stated the terms of the sale and did not push your Mother to buy it.

Very Professional and Friendly.

Very Professional and Friendly. Keith Alford was the highlight of the day. Keith A took care of our needs and went out of his way to find the perfect Vehicle. I told all my friends to come here for hospitality and great service from the whole staff. Way to go….

The dealership knew we were coming to see the vehicle for

The dealership knew we were coming to see the vehicle for two days; we drove 3 hours to check it out and it was FILTHY, the bumper was unattached and when asked about it, was told 'the body person must have forgotten a clip' and 'well, it is a used car'. I was appalled that a car was presented in such a flawed manner when we came, check in hand. When the sales manager came to talk to us and we share there were crayons and spilled food all over the back seat pockets and the car made a clunking noise when we turned it, he stated, 'sounds like this isn't the car for you'. Didn't even attempt to work with us or show us another vehicle. Luckly, another dealership worked with us and we found a better car at a lower price.

Dealer response

Reagan and Jeremy did apologize for the cleanliness of the vehicle and offered to get it dialed in before you would have left with it. There was a clip / fastener on the front bumper cover that was missing. This being a 65,000 mile vehicle, 1 clip of a dozen that fasten the bumper cover on the bottom side of the bumper cover that isnt visible unless you get on your hands and knees, did not draw the attention of our service team as it was not loose or drooping. Given the chance to correct these two concerns we would have, but you were not willing to allow us that opportunity to do so, all of which would have been done while you were wrapping up the paperwork.

Consumer response

1. " 1 clip of a dozen that fasten the bumper cover on the bottom side of the bumper cover that isnt visible unless you get on your hands and knees,"--- I'm not even a professional detailer or service team. I can promise you I WOULD NEVER get on my hands and knees for anyone and it was noticeable immediately upon approaching the car. 2. Couldn't wait? I drove 3 hours=shouldn't have to-every effort should have been made to get me in and out asap. 3. I have sold cars with over 100,000 miles as a private owner and I can guarantee it was cleaner than a new car because I have pride in what I attach my name to. 4. Why should you be 'given a chance to correct' something that shouldn't even have been an issue in the first place? red flag. 5. "It's a used car"-please see #3. 6. If the most basic of elements aren't addressed when the appointment was made two days in advance, what issues are being hidden that aren't readily visible? I am the biggest advocate of small, family owned businesses - and deliberately choose to do business with them over corporate America as much as I can-- and especially female entrepreneurs. Please do better.
