    I can't praise the sales and finance team at this dealership enough. I knew what I wanted and what I was willing to pay before I set foot in any dealerships.... At Subaru of Belmont I got sweet-talked and manipulated by a salesman who thought he could take me for a ride. I promptly left and never returned. By contrast, Ken Bettano, the Sales Manager at Subaru of Wakefield took me seriously from the moment he shook my hand. I told him what I wanted and didn't want and that I had compared prices through various online car marketplaces for the region. He asked some pointed questions, checked his inventory, and then made me a deal I couldn't refuse on a 2017 Crosstrek. No nonsense. No condescension. I took the vehicle for a test drive with my salesman, Nelson Molina, who was patient, polite and charming. Nelson handled the rest of the sale with great efficiency and good humor--and we definitely tried his patience by having him stay beyond the store's closing for which I am very sorry but most grateful! I went in at the end of the day on Sunday and had my new car by the next afternoon. If buying a car was this easy and painless I might not wait nearly 18 years before I do it again! I wholeheartedly recommend this dealership!

    Wanted to buy a car for their advertised price and was told No!!! The price is $2000 higher than what they have advertised unless you are trading in a... car and that car meets their certain set criteria.

    This Subaru Dealership has the worst customer I have ever experienced. The staff, namely, Chris Robertson the Finance Manager, Vincent Izzi the Sales Manager,... and Sal Barbagallo General Manager, is very rude, greedy, and self-centered. When I leased my Outback in 2018, Chris Robertson lured me into purchasing a Tire and Rim Protection Plan which he explicitly states, any damage to my rims will be fixed at no cost. One year later when I go to get my rims fixed, the service department starts giving excuses to not fix my rims and drags my appointments for over 7 months. Two years later, they decide to inform me that my specific rims were not covered under the protection plan. Nima Karamouz, the Fixed Operation Manager, then calls me over and says, “This warranty does not cover your car, the sales department sold you the wrong plan and you should go and get your money back.” I then go to get my refund with the sales department and they offer me a prorated refund when they made a mistake with selling me a wrong protection plan for my vehicle. At this point, my only option was to take a prorated refund and lose money due to their unprofessional staff’s negligence. Nearly two months later after requesting my refund, I receive a check that is much less than the amount that I was suppose to receive. At this point I email Chris and Sal about the incorrect refund and they both insist that I am wrong and they are right through VERY rude emails. Sal, then very reluctantly, sends me a check saying, “I hope that this will put an end to this situation.” This dealership thinks that I am wanting to get free money from them. I am only expecting the money which I paid and I deserve. The warranty company, National Auto Care, even stated that the dealership has made a mistake in processing my refund. This dealership has made a mistake, and still NOBODY has even bothered to say sorry or make things right with me, the customer. They value their profits over customer satisfaction. I will never shop here and will gladfully take my business over to Ira Subaru. I am glad I cancelled the purchase of my second car here and went to IRA. As always, I expect Sal to fight and refuse this review because him and the staff and Subaru of Wakefield are arrogant and deceitful.

    Found a great price on cars.com for the perfect Subaru Ascent for my wife. We made an appointment a week in advance got to do the test drive but when... we started to go over the financing we noticed it was way more than what was advertised. I asked why is the price so much higher than what we saw online, than the salesman told us about all the different discounts that would need to be included to qualify for that price. As an example $1,500 off for paying in cash, $500 for active military, etc. Even if we applied all the ones he told us it still wouldn't have been half of what we needed to get down to the advertised price. Just another story of if the price seems too good to be true, it probably is.

    We were looking to buy a used Mini. We found Subaru of Wakefield through an advertisement from CARS.COM. These are challenging times and we found our... saleman to be courteous, unrushed and engaging. He was open about the history of the car and we did not feel pressure to buy even though they were about to close for an indefinate period. We had a brief negotiation and purchased the car. It was ready for us on Monday when he promised. I would definately recommend them to others and buy from them again.

    This is a terrible dealership. The sales manager Ken Bettano is very unprofessional and rude. They made 4 days delay to get my car title ready and when... I asked to get my deposit back cos i got tired of waiting he didn't want to send deposit back and purposely made me come again to the dealership saying « i won't save you a trip to the dealership if you're not buying from us » This is not the kind of people that you want to deal with

    Sorry you feel that way. It usually takes more time to get a title on a car that had a payoff. Kenny had called in favors to expedite getting you the... title early and the day he has it coming you cancel. We have no problem refunding your deposit. It is our stores policy that you need to come back in with your credit card so we can swipe it to get a refund. No different than canceling a purchase at a store.

    There are repeated occurrences of this dealership posting cars well below MSRP - and each attempt to inquire about the car results in an ultimate redirection... to other cars. I can't speak to how they operate at their location, but their web-marketing team appears to be deliberately placing prices inaccurately below MSRP - presumably to ensure that their cars appear first on any sort of low to high, which only results in lost time when you're repeatedly informed that the car is no longer available... if they do this... be careful... just wanted to share...

    I had a very good experience dealing with Subaru Of Wakefield. I read on line at DealerRater about my sales rep Al Mazin and I decided to ask for him and... glad I did. Al was very helpful in the process. When id call the dealership and ask for him instead of voice mail it goes directly to his cell phone and he always seemed to be reachable and willing to help. I also felt that all the managers were very helpful and not pressuring me to do anything I didn't want to do. The same goes for Al he was very helpful and not pressuring me at all. I would recommend Al Mazin and the dealership.
