Love my quiet, powerful XT Touring Outback. A lot of luxury and safety for the money

One star cause I had to or it would be zero

We were in the market to buy a second vehicle for my daughter. Didn't want spend alot and understand that we would have some issues possibly with the vehicle and were fully prepared for that. What we got were nothing but lies or ineptitude by the service department. We were told that the vehicle we wanted to look at was either in for service or had just come out. Once we found the vehicle my daughter and son inlaw test drove it. Upon returning they said the brake light had come on after looking a little closer the car had a noticeable brake line leak and after looking at it I touched it and it BROKE in half that is when I noticed the gas line was leaking. All of this after dealing with a salesperson that didn't really seem to want to even talk to us. So was it lies you told to try and sell me a death trap or xxxx service department?

Zero Credibility! Negligent and Egotistical

I took my Hyundai Sonata to them to check out a check engine light and BlueLink. At first they're very nice. They even gave me a nice, new, loaner car while they worked on mine. But everything changed when I got my car back. The second I drove it off the lot I heard an awful noise and I quickly turned around and went back asking them how the inspection listed on the detail sheet could miss something so loud and obvious. Mr. Sam said he was unaware of anything. He said to keep an eye on it. Later in the day I took it to another service center to be looked at because it seemed really concerning and once they finished with it, they brought out a cleanly broken strut from the front-left-side of my vehicle! The new service center staff were absolutely horrified and amazed how something so severe and dangerous could have been missed during an inspection and more so even be allowed to be driven. One wrong bump in the road and who knows what could have happened to me and my passengers? This type of mistake is not acceptable whatsoever. It may even be classified as negligent in a court of law, as to be determined by legal counsel. I called them back immediately once I knew this and gave Sam the earful he needed to hear from putting me in a dangerous situation. I am not saying they broke my strut repairing my car. However, something happened to my vehicle while it was under their supervision that should have been taken of through the inspection listed on the report of the work performed and Sam refused to put his pride aside and take any responsibility for their mistakes. He said, "I'm not going to do anything about it." At this point I never want to step foot in their dealership again. I would highly recommend for everyone to go elsewhere for their car needs. Their behaviour hinges on illegal and dangerous. At least one of those terms describes my experience perfectly.

Great place to buy a car!

They found the EXACT car I wanted, had it shipped in, and ready for delivery in a weeks time! Very friendly, informative, and supportive of a couple of old people looking for just the right car.

Cost too much

Too expensive! Oil change and wheel balance was $132.00.

Dealer response

Ronn If, thank you for your honest feedback. We do try to keep prices competitive in the market, so we are sorry you felt they were too high.

Ascent

Bought a 2020 Ascent from dealer, and ready to trade! Vehicle runs terrible! Brought in to be fixed, and was told immediately by service department, that needed a new transmission. After 2 weeks of nothing being done, we picked up vehicle and are now driving. Was told there was nothing found wrong with the vehicle, after multiple tests ran with a computer. Very frustrated, due to the fact that the service department drove vehicle once and said it was definitely transmission. But what now, nothing. I am stuck with a over $30,000 vehicle that runs terrible, and nothing to do about it. I used to think Subaru would be the last vehicle i would ever drive, that is no longer the case. Currently looking to trade, without getting hosed on the deal!

No pressure, Car is good. Only have 600 miles. So far gas mileage is better than our 2017 Legacy.
