My husband and I have purchased a New Jeep Wrangler and a New Jeep Cherokee from Shimkat Motor Company in the last 6 years. We both love our Jeeps and the service after the sale that we received from Shimkats!

Such a great place to buy a vehicle or get a vehicle serviced. Everybody is very nice and helpful. I can see why they have been in business for over 70 years.

Sales staff did an excellent job locating a vehicle that was exactly what I wanted. They arranged to have the vehicle transported from out of state. They were great with all of my questions.

On July 12th, 2018, I left a tire at the service department for repair or replacement, we had purchased the tire and a spare tire kit there earlier this year, the instructions were that if it couldn;t be patched, to replace the tire and that my wife would pick it up after work, even discussed having them swap it with the spare while she was there. At 2:30, my wife called to let them know she was on her way to pick it up, whereas she was told it couldn't repaired and they didn't replace it either, seems they don;t remember the conversation when I dropped it off. No problem, just replace it, it's a 20 minute drive. Nope, gave her the run around about having to get an estimate and call her back, for the same tire we purchased there this year. That's too bad, guess we'll go to Ames from now on, shopping local with this dealer has no benefit.
