Starting with Jim Sudbay in the 1930's the Sudbay family has for four generations served the people of Cape Ann and beyond. Jim's son Donald continued in his father's footsteps and eventually built the present General Motors dealership in 1965. Don and his wife Phyllis reside in Gloucester. His two sons Don Jr. and David now own both Sudbay General Motors and Sudbay Chrysler. Early in their lives Don Jr. and David learned the automobile business from the ground up.
