Don't buy a car from this dealerhsip!

I would never purchase a car again from this dealer. Make sure you read the WARRANTY, cause the used vehicles have fine print... The vehicle just has to pass inspection, and they will sell it! I paid cash for the vehicle, brought it to a REPUTABLE dealer and found it had brake issues. When asked to be reimbursed or show proof of the life of the break at the time of sale, I was told, it passed inspection, so the breaks were more than 50%. Car=10,000 Breaks =300. No we won't reimburse you--REALLY!

been doing business with Wedekind for 20+ years

I have been doing business with the Wedekind for over 20 years and find everything that I am looking for in a car dealership. There are many dealerships that will give you a good trade-in price, a nice sale price, will finance the deal, blah, blah, blah, but you will get all of that and more at Wedekind. These people genuinely care about you and your auto related needs. They really want you to be happy with your purchase and to have confidence with any repair work that you have done there. Your satisfaction is a priority with Wedekind. If something feels wrong to you, don't go away, TELL MIKE or ART. They will, I reinforce the word "will" do anything reasonable to make sure that you are a satisfied customer. In 2008, after the crash, Mike told me that he doesn't care as much about the profits as he does making sure that every person who works there can keep their job. Man, where do you see that in business today? Here is something to consider. When GM made Pontiac, Wedekind was one of their dealerships. Well, Pontiac is gone and today, Wedekind has no major auto manufacturer franchise. That spells bad news for a lot of dealerships, but not Wedekind. Their business never skipped a beat. Here's why. Their attention to selling and servicing "pre-owned" vehicles was always the backbone of their business. Every time that I go in there I see more people employed there than before. Another nice thing is that if your are seriously interested in buying a certain year, make, model, even color of car and they don't have it, they will find you one ASAP and get with you to finalize the deal. That is how I sometimes shop with them for myself and for my referrals for my friends and family. I tell Mike or Art what my referrals are interested in and if they don't have it on the lot, they will find what my referrals are looking for. Though that be the case, everyone that I send there usually finds something that grabs their interest already on the well stocked lot. Wedekind Motors has always been a family business. If you work there and prove yourself, they adopt you into their business family and after having done business with them for as long as I have, they adopted me too. It all started with me looking for another car and thinking, "Let's give these guys a try and see." I'm glad that I did. "Before you buy, give'em a try" lol and I'll bet that you will be glad that you went there too. : )

Don't hesitate to give Wedekind a try - 5 stars!

After researching online, I emailed the dealership to test drive my two top choices. I'd never been here before. But through my searching, they kept coming up as having the best prices. I was greeted by Felice, who got me ready to roll in just a few minutes. And get this, no awkward drive with a salesman here. In fact, he offered to let me take one home just to be sure which car I liked! I didn't think places like this still existed. They really value your business and go to great lengths to make sure you're happy. I spoke with Art to finalize the deal and he was straightforward and very fair. He went beyond what I asked for and I couldn't be happier. Felice went around the car with me and noted any concerns I had before leaving. I picked up my car today and he had done a great job. I asked him if I could order touch up paint for future dings that may happen and he showed me it was already in the car! The paperwork was ready for me to sign as promised. I really enjoyed the car buying process and won't be going anywhere else but Wedekind.

Best Dealership In Town!

Wedekind Motors is first rate place to find a decent used vehicle. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and above all they will keep in touch with you even after the sale! Their no pressure sales approach is refreshing. I wasn?t even in the market for a new vehicle recently and wound up with a great deal that I couldn't pass up. The service department and body shop are the best around. I would certainly recommend this dealership to anyone in search of a quality used vehicle at an affordable price with great customer service.

I've dealt with every dealership in CNY. Al made everything simple and easy did everything over the phone. I would definitely buy from again

THE BEST CAR SHOPPING EXPERIENCE, EVER.

I have purchased 4 cars and this is my 5th. This is by far the best experience I have ever had. ZERO pressure. They knew what they were talking about. As a woman I felt like I was being treated fairly (I've had some bad experiences at other places, salesmen trying to rip me off), this place was amazing. I spent 1.5 hours test driving and talking to the sale man. He stayed after closing to ensure I was getting what I wanted. I trust this place and will tell everyone I know to go here for their new cars. I got a great deal and cannot wait to get my Jeep this Friday!

Highly recommend dealership. Art went above and beyond expectations. They gave me above trade value and did everything possible to get the job done. The quality of the vehicles are outstanding. Visited two dealerships prior who said no. Will definitely return in the future.

Best dealership I have ever dealt with!!!

I had an awesome experience where there was not a lot of high pressure and we decided on a price immediately with no "back and forth with my manager" (like you get with some dealerships). I bought a 2005 Grand Prix with 40K miles site unseen via pictures and they were very accomodating even to take picutures of the undercarriage to help me see the overall condition since I could not travel to view the car in person. They went through the car and redid the brakes and even replaced the battery (which was still OK) since I was going to have the car sit for awhile to get through the winter months (most dealers probably wouldn't have bothered and hoped for the battery would be OK for the 90 day warranty period). Finally, the best thing is that they delivered the car (~170 miles) for no charge and the car was as described and expected - very satisfied.

Great Place great staff

Let me start by saying i am not an easy person to deal with. The Staff went above and beyond my expectations in finding me the right vehicle. The entire staff was very friendly from the sales people to the guy cleaning the windows. I left there feeling confident and very happy with my purchase If you are looking for a quality used car with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff then dont shop around head straight to wedekind you wont be disappointed. I would like to especially thank Mike and Art for all that they did thank you again...... The Grinch

Friendly staff, great car, satisfied customer!

I chose to ultimately buy from Wedekind on State Street in Schenectady, NY because of their non-aggresive sales approach, friendly and knowledgable staff, and their attentiveness to details and my needs. I shopped around for months and was won over by the Wedekind's willingness to work with my budget and respect me as a person. Art and Joe were a pleasure to work with and I will definitely recommend Wedekind to my friends and family!!
