Brad Hughes, life saver!

This review is a long time coming, and 5 months overdue! I just want to give a shout out to Brad Hughes! My husband and I were relocating from VA to MI. I was stuck in VA until 3/12, while my husband started his new job on 2/28. Previously my husband had a company car, now with his new company, he needed his own... this is where Brad at Burt Watson "came in clutch" My husband saw the car online before hew flew to MI and set up an appointment on Saturday, and didn't realize they closed early on Saturday, so when he called back to say he was going to buy the truck, he wasn't able to move forward until Monday, but they said it was his and they'd address a few areas my husband brought attention too (alignment or tire balance) and they would deliver it to him on Monday! Well, we didn't really think about all the logistics needed for car buying out of state.. he didn't come to MI with his SSC or a checkbook! Needless to say, Brad Hughes held my hand every step of the way (and I say my hand because I had to handle the whole transaction over the phone from VA, as my husband was on-boarding with his new job the day we were making the purchase!) Brad Hughes understood our situation and Burt Watson still delivered the Truck to my husband, 2 hours away in Grand Rapids (and drove the family borrowed car back!) before everything was completely buttoned up. Brad, may have taken a risk on us (or maybe it's not that big of a deal? Yet it was huge to us!!!), but I am so glad he did because with out his assistance and trust, we would have been in a tricky situation (in Grand Rapids for a week and had to fly home the following weekend to move us, so there was no other time to get this truck!) I ended up overnighting a cashiers check to Burt Watson, as well as documents my husband needed so he could get a MI DL ASAP, so the truck could be registered to him as well. Funny enough, my husbands sister and brother- in- law bought a car, the same weekend from Burt Watson, as they know and trust another Burt Watson employee! Car shopping and dealers in general, can be a bit off putting, but nothing about this situation and establishment was like that! I would recommend them to anyone and we are so grateful and my husband still loves his truck!

So many smiles,lots of help,kindness from everyone

The experience at your establishment was full of kindness,help,smiles,for an older couple with not much techno savvyness was met with patience,gentleness and expertise in their job. We were so very well treated the whole time. Janelle Gatzke was professional in her knowledge of our needs to lease our 2022 Equinox. She was so kind to our 4yr.old great grandson and made his time pleasant too. Pam in finance was just as helpful. Everything was very thorough. Thank you for making my first time buying a brand new car sweet.

Review update

Follow up to June 16th review. On the 17th I received a phone call from Ray, the service manager at Burt Watson’s regarding the service issue. I had talked to Ray when we had the service issue. Ray was understanding apologized and assured us that this was not the norm for the service department. I agreed that we have never had a problem until this time, and hope to never again. We will continue to purchase and have our cars serviced being Burt Watson’s. The dealership is close and convenient. Thank you to Ray for the follow up and for listening to my complaints.

Great Service

Everything is always easy at Burt. I went in for an oil change and a detail. Service was quick, a loaner was provided, and the work was exceptional, especially the detailing.
