Ok, this is an out of state purchase and online. We dealt with Jade Stevenson and at first all was good and he was responsive to our inquires on the advertised 2023 Yukon Denali Ultimate used with high mileage. Jade did a video walk around to detail the imperfections and to answer questions. We had looked local and online for a couple weeks for the ultimate or sport version in Cadillac with the feature/options important to us. This would be up to 100k in purchase so yes we expected honesty and knew there would be some concessions with a used vehicle. We were told there would be a detail on the vehicle prior to our enclosed transport collecting it from dealership. Paying cash and trusting a dealership to perform with honesty is a huge leap of faith. When we received the Yukon it was filthy outside (explained and apologized by transport driver as he had to off load in extreme rain conditions twice before getting to us. However, we had to pay for professional detail interior as well as exterior due to residue hair and food particles as well as door jams dirty; exterior grill was impacted with old bug residue and other road usage. When picking up the vehicle the windshield was dirty as mentioned from weather during driver offloads and so we used service station wash to clean it to drive home. The crack in windshield was noticed and when we got back we immediately called Jade the next day when they were open. He said he never noticed it and neither did his detail folks; asked us to send photos. We did and we had to take the vehicle in for electrical repair under manufactures warranty here. The dealership service department confirmed it wasn't a new crack and that it had been repaired. We relayed this to Jade and for a second time he said he would speak to management and get back to us. Never heard from him that week so called on the following week when open and told that it was decided that it was his fault for not noticing it and "that's where we were with the situation". No compensation or consideration for our added expense at having to look at replacement since it is in the field of vision for driver. With our extreme heat here the continued fracture horizontal is a certainty into our heads up display area. It certainly would have been a factor as to whether we would have proceeded with the purchase or negotiated a reduction to or replacement of the windshield. Buyer beware of this business. Sadly it reinforces the stereotype of shady car dealers...one expects more from a licensed GMC dealer. Having clients, friends and family in and near Wyoming I will now relay to them my experiences and make certain I dont continue to refer them to White's Frontier Motors.
