I came to Hastings Chrysler to look at a used car that I

I came to Hastings Chrysler to look at a used car that I had seen online. I texted with Logan a couple of times before arriving and expected that he would have the car ready for a test drive. When I got there, we did not get out of the lot before I noticed that oil light was on. We checked the oil and it was just a little bit low so we decided to take the car for a short driver. I barely got out of the lot before I heard a noise in the front end and felt significant vibration. I did not feel safe taking it further, so we just went around the block and returned. I understand this was an "as is" trade in that was not going to be repaired and was priced accordingly but I believe someone should have driven it before hand to be sure it was at least safe to drive. The second car we drove was much better and we went for a nice test drive, getting to try the car in town, highway and country road driving. I really liked the car but wanted to keep looking so did not make any commitment to buy. Logan introduced me to the used car manager and I got his card. After looking at a couple of other cars at other places, I decided to make an offer on the second car I had driven, a 2011 Subaru Outback. I left a message for Logan on my lunch break, he called me back when I was unavailable at work. I returned his call but did not hear back the next day. After a couple of more days, I called Logan again but got his voice mail and did not hear back. The next day I called and spoke to him and found that the car had been sold. I was disappointed but understand as I had made no commitment. Overall, I think your dealership is o.k. but I would recommend that you train all of your sales people to inspect and take a brief test drive of any vehicle they may have inquiries on.

A fantastic place to be around.

Absolutely AWFUL customer service.

Absolutely AWFUL customer service. We leased a vehicle through them- drive train went out once (they fixed it), drive train going out again! Be careful the Jeep is currently on their lot, and they are not disclosing that there are transmission issues! When we traded in the Jeep for a used Pacifica, the certified inspection was not accurate! THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT WAS IN A PREVIOUS ACCIDENT. When trying to go back to them with the issues, they are completely dismissive and rude. Please take your service elsewhere! It is so disheartening that a company can be so shady!

Exceptional service

I highly recommend this for anyone. The service is really good. Samantha does a thorough job and had my best interest. Offered me the free WIFI hotspot. They always look out for the customer and make things happen.

Wonderful experience

Alex was absolutely wonderful. He did such a great job making me feel comfortable and welcomed. I didn’t feel pressured about anything. He listened to my needs and wants and made sure I got into the car that was suitable for me. I’m so happy I got to work with Alex at the Hastings Chrysler Center!!
