Trust and integrity is built on truthfulness
The dealership convinced me to come in early to turn in my lease. The sales person said I could the convert to a by of my current vehicle.I had an appointment and I drove to Salem. He was was not there so another sales person helped me. I found out the I could not turn it in early as there would be a residual that would need to be paid. I came back 2 months later. they looked at my lease and showed me how it would cost much less if I leased or bought a new vehicle.( It would also be better for their dealership as far as commissions, which I hoped this would be a win/win situation. I test drove a similar Tucson in a collar that I did not want. I told them that i was going to check out Albany and see if they might have a better deal. They told me that Albany had closed down due to the virus...which I later found out was not the truth. We worked out the best deal possible and when I got the final paperwork,I saw that the what was owed on my old vehicle was zero and i asked how i would be charged for any issues. I was told by the GM or Finance manager that the car was in great shape and the mileage was a little over and "they would take care of it."If it had more miles they would build it into my new contract. That sounded reasonable to me. They also told me that I had routine maintenance at no cost for two years Everyone was courteous and positive which I appreciated. About 4 months later a received a bill from Hyundai financing asking me for 1030 dollars for mileage overage. I called the GM and left a extended voice mail on the fact that this was a surprise and based on our March conversation this was not correct and asked for a call back. After two more days I called again,he was not available when he knew who was calling and this happened again two days later. I then sent a registered letter explaining my concern Two two days later I received a call from one of the finance managers, He was polite, a good listener and said he would talk to the GM and owner and would get back to me with a solution that day or the next. After four days;I gave him a call and he said the other GM was now going to handle this issue. GM#2 I talked and he asked for the same information that I had sent in my original letter, which perhaps was shredded. After he had the information for a few days and no response,I called him. I really resented to keep being passed off to other managers and then not returning calls. perhaps they thought it was all a big joke. Finally when we talked,I stated my frustration of a promise made and ignored to close a deal. He then said they would never promise to pay off a lease and they had no tools to see what it would even be. I was out of luck, this never happened. Why did it take three weeks and three managers to come up with this. I resent the fool I was treated to be. I wonder if I will get my free two years of maintenance.........I am glad that was granted by Hyundai and not Withnell .

Process was reasonably fast and low pressure. Got the exact car I wanted. Raised my opinion of car shopping and car sales people in general.

Great Prices and a Warranty Included
I came here to buy a used car. Most of the used cars had 10 year 100K mile warranty, and it is truly included with the used car. Most places I have been try to sell you it after you already agreed to a price. Here they had the warranty included. Best place I have ever purchased a used car from. I will be back!
Brittany, thank you for sharing your feedback! It is very important to our dealership that we earn the trust of our guests by following through with our promises and providing hassle-free service. Sincerely,Melissa Dutoit, Customer Relations Manager, firstname.lastname@example.org

Avoid at all costs
Beware this used car dealer; they are sleazy and constantly scamming against the customer. They made me buy the key to the car (tried to sell it to me with the valet key--no buttons, no security set, etc.) and said I'd have to pay for the key if I wanted a real one. Also a wheel bearing went out within a week of purchase and I was told essentially--tough luck. They refused to even split the cost with me. The whole used car operation is right out of some SNL sketch about sleazy used car operators. I should have walked away and didn't--my fault. But everyone who reads this can save themselves a terrible buying experience. Avoid these guys at all cost.
Considerate and Not Pushy
They were very helpful and not pushy. The buying process was quick and painless. I worked with the internet department to get my quote first. I never felt pressured or lied to. They never had that "hungry/desperate" look in their eye, as opossed to most of the other dealerships I went to. And I went to about twenty. Thanks Withnell Hyundai!
