shopping credit "they are doing you a favor"

Sad to say after meeting such an awesome representative of Legacy who showed us a great truck and offered zero pressure for us to go and think about it this rep returned to school and was unable to assist us when we were ready. After I contacted the dealer again for more information with the truck since the previous rep was not available to assist we were paired up with Nate Jefferies. Can't say I was pleased with him or displeased with him as an individual. My girlfriend is from La Grande, she warned me not to do business with them there are far too many horror stories. We had a great exp with the first rep decided okay. I decided to try and finance on my own, unsure I’d qualify because of a bankruptcy in the last 3 years. I specifically told the dealer send to Hapo, if not approved go to my pre-approved loan with my GF at P1FCU. I was not approved alone, again instructed to P1FCU. The bank stated they were over on how much could be loaned. I told the dealer, drop your price to the max the bank approved or I will return the truck. They took this as send my credit to other creditors and find one that approves at their higher price. After several hurt feelings phone calls and texts the dealer complied with my wishes to complete the deal and reduced their price to meet P1FCU price. I've purchased from many dealerships, including Corwin Ford (I highly recommend them over these dudes, they are solid!) I am torn 75 % of me knows I should have walked away. 25% of me was satisfied with the deal once everything was said and done, I will never return to this dealership again though nor refer anyone to it.

We highly recommend Justin, Skylar, and the whole Legacy

We highly recommend Justin, Skylar, and the whole Legacy Ford crew. Everyone was knowledgeable and helpful, but without any pressure to buy. They let us take overnight test drives to really experience the vehicles. When I couldn't decide between 2 different models, they took my pro/con list and found me the perfect vehicle, a model I hadn't even considered. We checked out dealerships in Boise but are so glad we didn't buy from them. We were able to keep our business local and no one treated us as well as Legacy. These guys have gone above and beyond for us. Not only finding the perfect car for me but setting the radio to the 80s rock station and changing the ambient light to green, remembering those are my favorites. The folks at Legacy Ford are still checking in and making sure everything is perfect, even though all the papers have been signed. We will definitely be customers again.

Wonderful experience, keeping it local

We had a wonderful experience with Legacy Ford in LG. Justin, Skylar and the whole crew went above and beyond to find the perfect vehicle for me. They never pressured us to buy. The sale has gone through and they are still checking in to make sure everything is perfect.

Auto dealer fraud was committed by this dealership.

Auto dealer fraud was committed by this dealership. We were able to complete a full sign-and-drive transaction through their website. They appraised my trade-in and checked our credit. Ford Credit fully approved our application. We were scheduled to pick up the truck and sign any remaining documents. We detailed the trade-in, drove two hours, arranged to have cash on hand for a cash down payment, and I even chose to forgo the purchase of an amazing 2022 Tesla, which has since been sold, because my partner fell in love with this truck. We tried calling, but the internet sale's person was unavailable. we inquired on their website for that specific truck and received an email response stating from the internet sale's manager" Let's make a deal!" and if we wanted more information regarding the truck; we already read everything so we decided to "make a deal! We completed steps outline from sale's manager email to complete the credit application and set up pick up for the vehicle via their website. When we arrived an hour early for our scheduled pickup, we were greeted with cold looks and extremely rude behavior, in my opinion. We were informed that these trucks were being sold at a substantial premium over MSRP and that the truck in question was unavailable (at first, it was due to a customer order, then it was damaged, etc.). Even though we've completed all the paperwork for it and we're there to pick it up via their own system, but we were informed luckily that they had two more available for $119,000. The truck is listed at a price of $61,000 (which is still on their website for that price and availability). This is a classic example of false advertising, bait-and-switch, and other misleading practices. The amount of inconvenience and impact to our credit from losing out on two vehicles, losing out on the trade-in (I had the option to sell it but wanted to use it as a trade-in), having to take off work so we could drive two hours away and detail the car is inexcusable... and then, when we finally get there, the audacity of being pressured into buying another vehicle that was not the same color and was nearly $60,000 more expensive put everything over the top. I am going to contact the attorney general, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Better Business Bureau.

Go somewhere else

First off lets start 2 months ago, i traded in a 2008 f350 that needed some work done. I had the truck run through La Grande light truck and had the driver side rocker arm replaced, along with that there were some other problems that needed addressed, when I traded that truck in I let them know the issues I knew of that it needed, they test drove the truck and offered me cash and a Durango that I took. Fast forward to today (03/05/2022) I came in to look at a 2008 Nissan Frontier, as I was leaving to think about purchasing the Nissan the salesmen came out to tell me the sales manager wanted to talk to me about buying the truck. When I came inside the sales manager Chris told me the price on the truck and asked if I wanted to buy it yes or no while not being very professional about it he continued in saying in short the price is firm because of the truck you traded in a couple months back, Then stated he would not take the Durango that I purchased a couple months back as I was not allowed to trade in apparently. I asked him what happened to the truck and he was clueless. So Chris had no answers to what happened to the truck so I am assuming he is just rude and unprofessional to everyone very classy. Just avoid this place Goss motors will treat you right.

Horrible/ shady service

Blinker on F-150 broke due to normal wear and tear, took said pickup in to have it fully repaired. they said that the mount was cracked but it shouldn't be an issue and wouldn't fix it. (as I was paying out of pocket for parts and labor) I expressed concern over the cracked mount, and was told again it wouldn't be an issue. a few months later the blinker then broke again so I took the pickup back in to have the shady work redone. the representative said that the mount was continually breaking and that they put in a longer screw to help hold it together, but it was going to keep breaking. the representative then told me that I would have to schedule a third service visit and pay full price (again) if I wanted the issue resolved. I highly recommend anybody looking for service to be done to avoid the hassle with legacy service department and go to a mom and pop shop.

My Mercury Mariner broke down on my way to southern...

My Mercury Mariner broke down on my way to southern California. I had it towed to Legacy Ford. I had to continue on to my job. Mike in the service department kept me informed of the progress of the engine replacement. When I returned to pick up my suv Alisia (sp) helped me out with the charges and got me back to my car quickly. I also want to thank Lisa for allowing me to rent a car for the almost 6 weeks that it took for the repairs Thank You Legacy Ford for the personal service you gave me. I worked for over 30 years in the auto service buisness and know how much work it takes to care for customers the way they do. I recommend Legacy Ford for any automotive need. 5 stars
