When we came in first thing this morning, we???re we???re quickly greeted by Brian and he was super easy to work with and listened to what I wanted and... was eager to help. He was very transparent and honest with vehicle pricing and my options. Even though the forester I wanted wasn???t on the lot, he was willing to looking into option to find it. Although I didn???t leave with the vehicle I came in intending to purchase, I left with a vehicle that surpassed what I originally wanted and am extremely happy.
I found the exact cars I was looking for, and test drove both before buying. The sales rep answered all of my questions, and showed me multiple buying... options. I am so happy with my purchase!
Brian and the rest of the team made me feel at home and comfortable while they searched the Portland area to find exactly the crosstrek we were looking... for. He also did a thorough job explaining the features and tech in our new Subaru!
Trish was extremely helpful from the beginning. She was highly diligent and followed through on what she said she would do. Communication was straightforward... and timely. Additionally, she was very fun! I had never bought a car before and I was getting a car for my wife -she made the process something enjoyable, which is great because I had a stereotypical impression that car dealers were hounds that shift prices or sell junky vehicles. I like it that my wife got to have fun during what could have been an otherwise stressful process. We love our 2002 used highlander, and we will use Trish/Lithia OC again in the future. I made an inquiry online and got a call back from Shannon but was busy and kept getting call backs from other salesmen. The last caller was Braden so... I settled with him as my representative. Braden convinced me to purchase used 2013 Honda Fit with an excellent exterior/interior. Before purchase I was going to take it for a $200 pre-inspection at the Honda dealership down the road but the salesman Braden assured that nothing is wrong with it mechanically. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, he seems like a honest dude but that???s their job I suppose. Anyway, they offer 3,000 miles or 60 day warranty that covers 100% of any repairs. It was hard to one up this dealership, I didn???t get the price point I wanted but I got the KBB fair market value price. Braden also threw in a coffee mug and a hat to make me feel like I left something more LOL. After agreeing to price point, I met with their finance manager, nice man and easy to talk too. Didn???t give off the ???better than you??? vibe. I think his name is Timothy? Not sure but bald head. I felt like most of the staff at this dealership were friendly. I would buy again from them.
I bought a Crosstrek a few months ago and had an excellent experience with David Meltzer. He gave me continued follow up and a thorough explanation of... my new car. I had some problems with Joshua in the financial department but I understand he is no longer employed which makes this review of him not applicable. As a Costco customer I expected to have no pressure in buying extra features such as the extended service agreement. David offered but most importantly he honored by decision to decline. Joshua did not do that and I understand that he left the company the next day. I ended up getting it and regretting my decision. The Lithia company was very fair about giving me my refund in a timely manner and with David's continued follow up and care is why I am giving it 5 star rating. I took responsibly for my decision at the time but asked for a refund and it was given to me much to my relief. My only suggestion is that once a person, especially a single elder woman, says no thank you that it should be honored by all departments. Thank you David for helping me through this process. I love my car and I felt very lucky to have you as my salesperson.
Brian was very friendly and helpful. He even drove my 2nd vehicle back to my house with me when I did not trade it in at the dealership. Mark had a great... personality and I really enjoyed working with him. Andrea was great! She overheard me talking about my interest in the remote start feature. She engaged me in conversation and explained all the details about the Starlink service and her personal experience with it. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The dealership pricing was over what I had seen at another dealership, but when I provided the other dealership's price sheet they gave me the vehicle for the same price and that included pulse (an added feature they had already installed on the vehicle normally a $299 cost). Overall I gave the dealership 4 stars due to the value they quoted me for my trade in. I was quoted $523 for my trade in and they quoted it as fair condition. The vehicle was in great condition and I told them so. After leaving the dealership I went to Carmax and they appraised it at $1200. The evening before meeting and working with Brian, I had gone to the dealership and was introduced to Kiki. She walked me outside to show me the vehicle I was interested in, but did not seem very interested in helping me. When I mentioned that the lighting was not the best and I would probably come back the next morning she said that was fine and left me so I could get in my car to leave. Then I recalled that they have an inside area with lighting where I would be able to see the vehicle better (Kiki didn't mention it). The vehicles were pulled into the garage where I looked at them and Kiki did not interact with me at all to explain any features or ask if I had any questions. When I was done looking at them I went back inside and Kiki was more concerned with moving the vehicles back out on the lot than helping me in any way. I got the feeling I was bothering her by asking for assistance, which should not happen. Thankfully while Kiki was moving the vehicles back...I met Andrea who was awesome as I previously mentioned above. Kiki never came back to talk to me before I left the dealership that day and the next day when I came in and met with Brian (a much better experience), Kiki came in a bit later while I was there and she still didn't acknowledge me, while Andrea saw me and immediately said hello Melissa, remembering my name. Kiki has great reviews on this site, but I had a bad experience working with her. Thankfully, everyone else I interacted with was great.
