In November of 2022, my husband and I traveled to Valu Ford from Detroit lakes, MN. I had just sold my car and had been searching online for a Subaru Outback. When we arrived, I was told that without a trade-in, the price was $1000 more than the website listed. I wanted the car, so I continued, despite the $1000 increase. The salesman told me another person called with an offer shortly after I had called so they wouldn't negotiate. I wanted to pay cash. They disputed that, stating the deal could be done that night with 100% financing. They also pushed GAP. It's credit protection insurance. I have bought several vehicles in the past. Never have I felt so pushed in to agreeing to finance with their credit company. Not to mention gap insurance! Is it because I am a woman? I wanted the car because I had been searching for awhile. Ultimately, I left feeling totally jilted! I got home, removed the Valu Ford sticker, and paid off the credit company ASAP! And to add to the painful experience, it took 6 months to receive the title! I stopped at my local DMV to inquire about the title. They searched it and found that it was delayed by the dealer. Never would I ever buy another vehicle from these scammers! I even sent a snapshot of the advertised price with no mention of $1000 increase for no trade-in. Don't trust Valu Ford!!

Drive a hour in a half to buy a truck , money in hand . Asked them to please let us know if any issues at all with truck . Sale person said none , ripped seat ( didn't want to fix & chip in windshield ) Knowledge for big trucks Zero !!! TOTAL PRICE WAS $2000 GRAND OVER STATED WHEN SIGNING PAPERS . THANK GOD I ASKED TO SEE GRAND TOTAL BEFORE I SIGNED . It's not my issue if the sales person gave us the wrong price for tax they should have stood by their word instead of just LIFTING their shoulders and saying OK walk away. WASTED DAY !!

The second vehicle I have purchased at this dealership. Mike spent time very thoroughly describing the pros and cons of 5 vehicles I had a chance to test drive . We were able to find one that best met our needs and a price we could handle . Caleb in financing spent a great deal of time getting me the best rate . He was very thorough in explaining all the paperwork I was signing and plan options that were available . Very comfortable and clean dealership . Beverages and snacks while we were waiting . Detail personnel very thorough and very friendly.

Jordan and Amanda did a great job of taking care of me. Made the process smooth and easy. Very clean show floor as well. Great place.

Farrah is the salesperson to deal with. Awesome deal and great customer service. Went beyond what was expected. No pressure and an enjoyable experience. Thanks

We had an appointment to pick up our new car. The dealer was busy visiting with other people and ignored us most of the time. We felt insignificant. It was stressful.

I had been checking Valu Fords website and found a pick-up I liked. I bought it site unseen. Sales lady Michele sent me photos and videos. Michele did exactly what she said she would do. The dealership and employees seem to be very honest, not what I’ve been used to in the past. Great experience!
