Purchased a "certified" used Ford Edge from a Chevy

Purchased a "certified" used Ford Edge from a Chevy dealer 12-weeks-ago. That was mistake #1. Initially the salesman & business personelle were pleasant to deal with. However, 24 hrs after the vehicle purchase, I came to realize there were many serious mechanical issues, verified by a Ford dealer. Any effort to communicate with managment have yet to be be resolved. Completely shocked, after spending $10K, 1-week later the vehicle is at a Ford dealer replacing a fuel purge valve, $500. In addition, many more diagnosted code were revealed to me, and they suggested I return to the dealership. That was mistake #2. When I informed managment that I have almost $2,000 of mechanical repairs, thats when communication halted. Several emails and voicemails were ignored. This is serious discredible practice, in my opinion. Very unfortunate, as they regard themselves as a trusting multi-generational small town family owned dealership. Since my initial, many emails, voice messages and phone calls have all been ignored. Personally, my customer satisfaction purchase experience is rated very poorly. It was the stark realization of the slogan of "buyer beware", despite the dealers polished appearance. Not recommended.

Heartland Chevy in Morris,MN

I purchased my Tahoe from here because I had taken my other vehicles here for servicing and was very pleased with the work they did and the way I was treated. I am treated the same way every time I go there whether it's for servicing or just to get an answer to something pertaining to my vehicle. As long as I live in the area I will continue to dealwith them. No high pressure,just real down to earth people. I can get an oil change there cheaper than any where else . Thank you Heartland

Hazard lights

I came in for an oil change dropped my car off. Went to pick up next day. Paid for everything, went outside and tried the auto start. Wouldn't start. Got in and tried the key... Wouldn't start. Come to find out they keft the hazards on and killed my battery. Which they charged. Waited over 40 min before car was ready. Ran errands and everything worked fine. Car sat inside garage next 2 days. Got in on 3rd day to go to apt.... WOULDN'T start. They had killed my battery and i had to get a new one. Thankfully i was able to borrow a truck so i could get to my apt. Which if it had to if rescheduled would be 2 months.

Bad business

My experience with this dealership has been a joke seriously four recalls in six months and now there’s issues with the vehicle again it was dropped off again told nothing was wrong put a bad tire on the front which there’s pictures of car was buried in snow and ice after two weeks of nothing being done and now finally a different mechanic With numerous issues wished I could say different but I can’t . Sneaky shiesty business and who puts a bad tire on the front of a vehicle after it was just rotated cmon now I’ve got proof of it all just hope it don’t happen to anyone else cause they will try pull one over on ya

Looking at the repair order our techs were not able to duplicate the problem you described and only rotated your tires as you requested. Nothing was charged to you for the time we had your vehicle. I have been researching cars and located one I was interested in at Heartland - I felt their website was easy to navigate and they have made email contacts with me in follow up. I appreciate that during this time when I am trying to stay within the social distancing guidelines for our state, I will definitely check out their car when I am able to.
