"Best of their ability" is a scam

A deer hit totaled our vehicle just weeks before our daughter's wedding. Time was limited. We saw a vehicle at Riverside Ford in Escanaba online. Emailed for some info. Traded emails and phone calls and went to check it out. Vehicle had deep gouges all down the liftgate from going under a garage door while liftgate open. Doors had scratches from dogs. Interior was not even cleaned! Nothing was said about this online, on phone, or by email. Should have walked, but time was of the essence. Salesperson said liftgate and doors would be "fixed to best of our ability". Since this was a large dealership with a service center, several other dealerships, and a body shop in their "group" we felt the problems would be corrected. Nope. "Best of our ability" is code for the salesperson, NOT the service center, or the body shop, or anyone who knows what they are doing, doing the work. The gouges in the tailgate were painted in with a brush, the doors were buffed until the clearcoat was off but the scratches were still there. Then it was sprayed with something that made it look smeary. Since we paid cash, it was "so sorry sucker", but we could pay extra to have their actual body shop fix the mess they had made. We weren't going to give them any more money, and frankly did not trust them to fix it. We took vehicle to a real body shop and they could not believe what Riverside had done! The paint they used in the tailgate gouges bled under the vehicle paint and it was starting to bubbling up. They had put a "Riverside" plastic logo right over the worse of it. When it was removed the paint bubble peeled right off! The clear coat they applied was actually a craft type product that was not meant to be used on vehicle paint. It acted as a solvent and actually melted the vehicle's paint. The body shop had a more difficult time cleaning up Riverside's "best of their ability" fix than the original problems without the fix. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere.

Excellent.

I decided to get a brand new 2020 F150 to replace my Ram Truck. I get X Plan so I went to my local dealer to tell them what I wanted and got blown off. I sent a few emails out and the only dealer who got back to me was Riverside. They found the exact truck I wanted and set up everything through email so I just had to drive down and pick it up. Everyone was nice and I love the truck. A few months later I decided to get my wife the vehicle she has wanted, a Dodge Journey R/T. I searched 3 states for a low mileage R/T and found the nicest one at a Riverside lot. I called the Ford Store and they got the car there and gave me an amazing deal! Couldn't be happier with Riverside Ford.

Great experience and great truck.

Just purchase a new 2015 f-150 and I am very happy to have had a great experience. The whole staff was excellent and I got the best price after shopping Marquette and green Bay. I will definitely be back. Give these guys a shot.
