We were very impressed with their helpfulness and concern when we purchased our car. Matthew and Jake were so helpful and answered every question we had. We were told to call if we had any questions or concerns.

I strongly do NOT recommend Minnesota Motor Company in Fergus Falls. When we first came to look at a pickup, the salesperson seemed friendly. But everything changed after we took the truck to an independent mechanic. The mechanic told us the vehicle needed almost $4,000 in repairs and was unsafe to drive, with issues serious enough to cause an accident. When we told the salesperson, he didn’t care at all. He just kept repeating, “It’s not a new car,” as if that excuses selling something dangerous. He refused to lower the price by even a single dollar. Our safety clearly didn’t matter to him. We walked away, but three days later we returned and bought a different pickup. That second truck passed the mechanic’s inspection. But about three weeks later, the starter failed. We contacted the dealer, and they said the warranty would cover it — but they did NOT tell us we would be expected to pay for the towing ourselves. They even suggested towing it with another vehicle, which is unsafe and irresponsible. We called a tow truck and brought the vehicle in. Then they tried to make me pay nearly $300 for the tow, even though the truck was under warranty. Only after an argument did they back down. And it gets worse: The first loaner vehicle they gave us was broken — completely unusable. The second loaner they gave us was disgusting — extremely dirty, smelly, and clearly never cleaned. It was honestly unpleasant to even sit inside. After everything we went through, I can confidently say: this dealership in Fergus Falls does not care about customers, safety, or honesty. They care only about taking your money. I will never buy from Minnesota Motor Company in Fergus Falls again.
