I've purchased 3 new vehicles from Muscatell Subaru since 2015. Each experience has been great. Dealerships so often turn me off from the car buying experience,... but it's actually been fun at Muscatell. No stress, no haggling, and they always seem to have the car I want. Their service department and facilities are top notch.
I love working with Muscatell Subaru in Moorhead. I am always treated like a special guest. They have never forgotten my name and are always honest and... personable. I would absolutely recommend you purchase a new or used car from them and/or have your vehicle serviced through them. You couldn't find a nicer group.

Misrepresented the trim package of vehicle. We drove 300 miles to find the base model. We even questioned the salesman before making the long drive. It... was not a good deal at all and they still have not changed the details. No wonder the car has been on the lot for 3 months. Terrible business!
After a disappointing, and unprofessional experience with the salesperson my husband and I then waited over an hour to set up financing. After the long... wait we met with financing and we offered additional warranties to purchase. We made our choice and agreed to purchase the warranties. We were promised and told that we had 30 days to change our minds and remove the warranties from our finance contract. One week later we decided to remove the warranties and sign a new contract for a lower financing amount. At that time when we signed the new contract we were told that the old contract (with the higher loan amount) was invalid and this new contract was the correct loan amount. Once we got the paperwork in the mail the loan was for the first contract amount (with the warranties). After realizing this mistake we immediately called Muscatell to inform them of the mistake. They were impenitent and unaware about their mistakes. After many back and forth conversations they agreed to pay the difference to the loan company to lower the loan amount. But we still have to pay the higher minimum monthly payment. We are currently paying monthly payments for a higher loan amount than what the car is worth WITHOUT the additional benefits of the warranties. Muscatell still has yet to follow through with what amends they promised. It was a terrible, stressful, and upsetting customer experience buying a car from this dealership. If you do go through this dealership I recommended selecting financing from another company. I will never purchase another car from this dealership again.
My wife Kari and I have bought 4 vehicles from Colt and the team... we are never upset.. the team makes it so easy to get u in the car u want.. we had... a power steering issue after three months of driving a vehicle that we bought from them ..called them up and told them the issue, brought it in fixed it no questions asked.
I went into this dealership simply to look at a car that I wanted; not expecting to buy the car until a few days later since I had to finish paperwork... on a loan that I was pre-approved for, and since I did not have my trade in with me. Not only did they beat the very low interest rate on this other loan, but they drove 100 miles to pick up my trade in. I honestly could not rate their facility since I was not there long enough to have a good look around, that's how fast the got me taken care of. Trevor Aakre is a top notch employee that I will be dealing with again for future purchases.
Ad for financing says if you have a job your approved, applied and never got a return call from them all communication intiated by me and was told they... would call one way or the other in other words don't call us we'll call you. well never heard from again. what a waste of time and hit for credit inquiry
