On Monday while we were on our way home from vacation the
On Monday while we were on our way home from vacation the engine completely blew on our 2021 Chevy Trailboss LT with around 21k miles on it. We had the truck towed after hours into their service department. Dropped off keys with an explanation in their drop box. They got the truck in Tuesday morning and by Wednesday we had the full answer on what was wrong but unfortunately there was no ETA on a new engine - no fault to Windy on that at all. My wife and I got online and looked at their website to see if there was possibly anything in stock that we would be interested in and we definitely fell in love with one. Inquired on it Thursday. Spoke to Tracy and Ron - both were sympathetic on the situation and helped start the process. Ron gave us a great trade in value for the truck as it will be fixed under warranty. Things went fairly smoothly with the loan process - Jessica was super friendly and listened to any questions we had. We noticed later that night after we got home that the price on the loan for the truck was very different than what was listed online - when I brought this up to Tracy that next morning, he responded and let me know that he sent it to Ron and he would look into it. We were in contact with him later that day and he explained where he thought the pricing was different but he wanted us to feel comfortable with everything and would have Jessica look over it again and have us talk to her. When we talked to Jessica - I had showed her the screen shot I had of the pricing online that had the VIN and stock number on it from their website directly. She understandably needed to talk to Ron - took a little time because lets be honest - he's a very busy guy and we completely understood that! After Ron had reviewed all the information - he honored the online price! Jessica went to bat for us as well by making sure the loan paperwork didn't get processed without this being addressed and fixed - we were in that evening to resign paperwork. We are very happy with our purchase and every interaction we had with Ron and Jessica. They really took the time to listen and communicated what happened and why the pricing was different. They both saw us as people and not just another transaction for them, seriously so grateful to both of them! Thank you!!

Not impressed with Windy Chevrolet anymore. I've bought 3 vehicles there and I won't make that mistake again. Typical, tell you what you want to hear to make a sale and then won't honor what they said when the time comes to step up. Going back to Pingrey Ford next time.
