2014 Honda Civic EX-L: a review of their service department, Jan 2022: Jan 7, Friday – car towed to Honda Battle Creek. Problem was it decelerated while at highway speed, started revving up more, seemed to be stuck at 2nd gear, and with dashboard light coming out one by one. Service staff (Dan) said they will check it on Monday. Jan 10, Monday – I called around noon time to follow up. Service staff (Morgan) said they will check on it that afternoon or the next day (Tuesday). Jan 11, Tuesday – I called again around noon time to follow up. Service staff (Dan) said they will just call me once they have checked my car. Jan 13, Thursday – I called around 3 pm to follow up. Service staff (Dan) said they haven’t checked on my car yet as they are still taking care of those with appointments. (So why did they not created an appointment for my vehicle instead of just saying they would do it when they get the chance???) I asked then if he can schedule an appointment for my car and he said yes, confirmed on Monday, Jan 17. Jan 17, Monday – I called around 330 pm to follow up. Service staff (Morgan) said their technician is checking on it at the moment but no update yet. Around 4 pm, I decided to drive to their service shop to see if they are really working on it as I had the hunch they weren’t. True enough, when I got there, my car was still in the same location where it was dropped by the towing truck last Jan 7, Friday, covered with some ice/snow, indicating it hasn’t been touched yet. Went inside their building to speak personally and service staff (Morgan) said she taught I was calling for a different vehicle. I decided to take the vehicle to Toyota since it was just beside Honda. Toyota checked it immediately but recommended to take it to Honda as they don't have the computer system to fix it properly. So had it towed to Kalamazoo Honda. I bought this vehicle from them (Honda Battle Creek) in 2014 and always brought it to them for servicing or regular maintenance. Never had any issues with their service dept in the past until this time.

I had really bad experience in service.time management so poor never done on time .telling us 2 hrs taking whole day .its happened all the time it’s batter to drive Kalamazoo.never come back

George was a very good salesman. He listened to what I was looking for and at what price range. He gave me a few options. He did not use pressure for me to decided but was truly interested in my thoughts and decision. Josh was also nice to work with in helping me get the car I wanted at the price I wanted. We drove over to Battle Creek Honda in 2010 to purchase a Fit that was not available locally. We drove back again in 2016 to buy our HR-V from them because we were so pleased with our first experience. Both our sales representative, Kevin Bartlam, and the sales manager, Josh Alger, were open, helpful and knowledgeable in offering us an excellent price on the new car as well as an equitable trade-in offer for our old one. They are likely to see us once again in or around 2022!!
