I just got ripped off at Gold Coast Cadillac.

I just got ripped off at Gold Coast Cadillac. I had my Oil changed and tires rotated today at Gold Coast Cadillac in Oakhurst, NJ. I was quoted on the phone with the Gold Coast Cadillac Staff $129.99 plus tax. I mentioned that I got a coupon from Cadillac for the oil change service and I was told just give it to the Service agent when I bring the car in. When I arrived I asked the service agent how I get my GM Rewards number into the system so I could get rewards points for my service. The Service agent had no idea how that worked. I gave him my rewards number but I am not sure this was applied to my account or not. I also gave him my Cadillac coupon code I got in email. The Cadillac coupon was for $20 off so I expected the bill to be $109.99 plus tax. When the bill came the services were $141.58 plus tax after which my $20 coupon was deducted. When I pointed out what I was quoted over the phone which also matched their web site, the service agent did not know what the price should be and stated that this is what the system is generating. After about 15 min of the service agent banging on his keyboard he said he didn't know what was wrong. I told him I had to go and needed to pay and get my keys. I was then informed that I would be charged 3.5% extra if I used a credit card. I said I was not charged this fee the last time I had my oil changed at Gold Coast. That fell on deaf ears. I paid with a debit card and went to my car only to find out it was not washed. I went back in and waited another 10 minutes for the service agent to run the car through the car wash. I dried the car myself after it was brought out. I am not sure why anyone would go to this dealer and I certainly won't be going back. Not what I expected from a Cadillac Dealer by a long shot. After 10 years of using this service dept I can say I’ve

After 10 years of using this service dept I can say I’ve had the worst experience. I waited in my car 20 minutes outside the bay because the cars inside never moved. Finally someone came out to greet me. I let them know what service I needed and that I had a coupon. I showed them the coupon and the price. Almost 3 hours of waiting there for a simple oil change and tire rotation. My bill was never adjusted. Then after 30 minutes of going back and forth they refused to take off the coupon even after showing them that I just received it from the dealership. I paid got to my vehicle that was dirtier then when I left. Garbage still on the floors. Really terrible experience.

Ryan Hills at Gold Coast went above and beyond my expectations. A few years back, he sold my father a CT-5. He made it an easy and smooth experience. I told him when I retired I’d be back to buy my own. Today I went and bought my first CT5-V and Ryan once again, made the experience easy. He answered every question I had and made sure I went home with the exact car I wanted without any exceptions. He was professional, knowledgeable, and helped me with setting up my car with every last detail. I Highly recommend Gold Coast and Ryan. The whole team there is 10/10.
