I found Auto Icon after searching nationwide for a particular Ram Promaster. After reading reviews I believed this to be a trustworthy place to buy a vehicle. Alonzo was my agent and very attentive. He told me everything that I wanted to hear and I believed I was purchasing a van that would be in generally good condition. Alonzo recommended a company to assess the vehicle and also provided me with a car fax. He told me that the vehicle was from a small business and assured me that it wasn’t used by multiple people. I believed the pictures that I saw and trusted his word so after Auto Exam looked at it I had it shipped from Texas. I was in tears when the van arrived. It was nothing like the photos. There was actually graffiti on the visor and the thing was filthy. I was worried that it had possibly been a flood vehicle. I sent Alonzo the photos along with those to Auto Exam. Without me asking Auto Exam refunded the money I paid and Alonzo at Auto Icon apologized and blamed it on someone else. Sadly a week later the title arrived and It showed that the previous “owner” was actually Enterprise. The van has since overheated twice and fuses blow constantly. I do not trust this dealer nor any of the car assessment companies.
