The manager (TONY DEAL) has not called or emailed us back about OUR 2014 truck that came from his dealership.... The Chevrolet had a new inspection sticker... from that dealership and had 3 BAD ball joints on the truck... so please if you are buying a vehicle from them have it inspected else where to make sure nothing is wrong with it BEFORE YOU PURCHASE IT!! All we asked was for them to pay the full price for the repairs, NOT HEARD FROM THEM. WE were not offered a vehicle to drive while ours was in the repair shop for a week! This was my second visit after relocating to this community recently. The initial visit included a part search. I found the service tech, parts manager... and front desk employee to be an effective problem solving team. This is a small dealership with a service-oriented atmosphere. The return visit was without an appointment for a related follow up on the mirror on the opposite door. They worked me in efficiently. I will definitely return in hopes of making GR the primary service shop for my Saturn.
Beware of service department. I was in Martinsville for the race and I had a vibration in my pick up. I took it to GR Chevrolet and they changed the... U Joints. On my way back to Ohio, I noticed a vibration. I took my truck to my local Chevrolet dealership and they found that there were hammer dents in the drive shaft which caused it to be out of balance. I contacted GR Chevrolet and they denied damaging it, but wanted me to drive 500 miles to let them check it out. When I advised them of this, the service manager, Billy Crowder stated the owner said there was nothing they could do. Thought I was doing good by sticking with another Chevrolet dealer, but I was wrong and out $842 for the damage they caused.
As always the Service Department delivers more than expected from most dealerships. I was scheduled for a couple of recalls and they were able to fit me... in for a scheduled service without an additional appointment as well. Friendly and thorough they make it easy to entrust your vehicle to their care. You can't help but like them... they are a great department and great for my vehicle maintenance.
