Sam was very good and explained car features very well.

Sam was very good and explained car features very well.. the possible improvement is to reduce the purchase time . 5 hours is too long ( not Sam's fault). The experience of car selection and features by Sam was excellent, well done.

My experience at Planet Hyundai was excellent.

My experience at Planet Hyundai was excellent. Their sales philosophy was exactly as stated. No pressure. Sam Fields did an excellent job. I was replacing a 2020 Tucson n that had been totaled in an accident. BTW - the vehicle performed as I expected it to.. I walked away. sore over time, but alive and well. Tim, the Finance Mgr was also friendly, professional and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership. Also, I am an 88 year old woman and was treated with professional and supportive assistance in this buying experience. The car was delivered in perfect condition. I also endorse the product.

A great experience purchasing a vehicle from Planet

A great experience purchasing a vehicle from Planet Hyundai in Golden Colorado. They always have great deals, are very knowledgeable on information and are honest and upfront, which doesn’t wast time! I have bought three vehicles here and it is always a great experience and I have left three times with an amazing deal. Just go check them out if you’re wanting a new vehicle and give them a shot. Probably be the deal you’re looking for. Outstanding business

I am very satisfied with my car purchase at Plant

I am very satisfied with my car purchase at Plant Hyundai. I received a very fair price and credit for my old car in a hassle-free and negotiation-free process. Shawn and Ryan did an excellent job guiding me through the purchase process - very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, I recommend them to my family and friends.

Customer service sucks, I don't think they care much

Customer service sucks, I don't think they care much after they sell the car. I called for a warranty service, the passenger wiper not working anymore. They could give me an appointment no less than a week and I had to leave the car for min 24 hour to allow them to diagnose the issue then they would have givem me the different options. I said I was 80 miles away on vacation and could not leave the car unless I would stay in hotel, they offered me an appoitment in 3 weeks so they could rent a courtesy car. I mentioned that for a problem I had they would need no more than 10min to diagnose the issue, but no way, they sais this is our policy.... I decided to diagnose myself and fixed it, the wiper nut was completely unscrewed, fortunately there is a rubber protective cup which held the nut otherwise I would have lost it. A problem under warranty created by Hyundai because that nut had never been touched since the car left the plant. They will never see me again.

Although they had a hard time locating the car that I had

Although they had a hard time locating the car that I had seen advertised on Cars.com, our salesman, Josue, had identified a similar car but with more options we could take for a test drive. After we decided on the car, model and color we wanted Josue brought out a car that was what we wanted for us to see what it would look like. Josue then went over wahat the car would cost us, which we felt was a fair price and similar to the price other Hyundai dealers were selling the car for. While this was going on the dealer was evaluating our trade in. This tool quite a while and we had to wait more that and hour so we decided to leave, they would call us with a figure. That was the problem as their offer for our trade in was less than fair in my opinion. I had used several sites on the internet including the trade in value calculator on Planet Hyundai's website which gave values $2,000 to $3,500 higher than their offer. They did say they do not negotiate trade in values but did up their offer by $50. We still didn't feel it was fair so decided not to buy the brand new Hyundai Ionic 6 from Planet Hyundai. However, we do feel that Josue Chavez worked very hard for us and was very knowledgeable and courteous.

New cars from this dealership offer 3 free oil changes (with each new vehicle), BUT require the car to be driven 8000 miles. before the oil change will be permitted. 8000 miles is TOO MANY MILES, even with synthetic oil. Would not work with them again and would caution anyone

Would not work with them again and would caution anyone from doing so. TLDR: Hidden markups, Gaslighting, Threats, and Lies. Firstly, they tout that they don’t have “dealer handling fees”, which is technically true but they will increase your interest rate on the back end. You can say you don’t have upfront fees, but hidden markups make you shady and not transparent. Secondly, we reserved a vehicle in transit, after it arrived we started talking final numbers. The numbers they were quoting weren’t adding up so I asked to speak to a manager. The manager continued to quote numbers that didn’t make sense and I told him that I didn’t feel comfortable moving forward and I would like my deposit refunded and his response was basically “too bad, your deposit is non-refundable, take what we are telling you or we are keeping your deposit”. At this point, I attempt to contact Shawn by phone, leaving him a voicemail expressing my concerns. No response. I respond by emailing and texting to cancel my appointment for the next day. No response until the next day in the late morning. To which the only reply is if I am moving forward with the vehicle. A blatant move to only collect my non-refundable deposit and move onto the next sucker. At this point, not wanting to lose my deposit and seeing that Shawn, manager Jon, and Planet Hyundai having no interest in hearing my concerns and only wish to gaslight and collect non-refundable deposits, I tell them to reschedule my appointment for 3 weeks into the future, at the end of February. Which their only response was, if I was planning to finalize the purchase on the new appointment, not to address my concerns. And trying to tell me that he doesn’t know if they can hold the vehicle for that long, against the terms of my reservation agreement, which they so graciously reminded me of it’s non-refund-ability previously. They eventually relented and agreed to a new appointment in 3 weeks. Over the next few days I continued to attempt to get correct numbers from them and also tell them I am considering outside financing, to which they tell me that by doing so I will forfeit some state tax incentives if I don’t go through HMF (Hyundai Motor Finance), which is just a blatant lie. After a long back and forth, they give me numbers that I know are technically wrong and HMF won’t fund, but appear acceptable and they also agreed that I would still qualify for the State Incentives with outside financing, it would just go through the state, not through them. Three weeks pass and our appointment is coming up. I give the information they request for the meeting and everything is moving forward. I am LITERALLY driving to the dealership and 15 MINUTES before our appointment they send me text saying that I was right about the math being wrong 3 weeks ago and that the numbers he sent me were wrong.(Shocker, I know) So instead of actually looking into my concerns 3 weeks ago they IMMEDIATELY resorted to gaslighting and threats. I went forward with purchasing the vehicle I wanted, not because I trusted any of them but because the vehicle was hard to find and they finally agreed to somewhat acceptable terms, which still included their scummy hidden markup in the interest rate. I look forward to my opportunity to give feedback to Hyundai USA about them.
