No Service
The Service department at Fields should be renamed "No Service". My vehicle was involved in an accident and Fields flat out refused to look at the car to see if there was any mechanical damage. According to Jeff, their service manager, the company policy is to have all body work complete before even looking at the the car. Is the car safe to drive to the body shop? I don't know and Fields refuses to tell me. You would think putting the car on a lift and looking at the undercarriage would be an easy exercise to keep a customer happy. My insurance company is equally perplexed that a dealer who sold an $80k car refuses to look at it. I cannot in good conscience recommend Fields to anyone. Stay away.

We arranged a visit to the Volvo Dealership to look at
We arranged a visit to the Volvo Dealership to look at PHEVs. Of course, nobody has them in the lot, but we wanted to use any existing S60, S90 and XC60 whether PHEV or not as a proxy. They did have an XC60 we could look at - but not test drive (I suppose it was promised to another customer.). They had no S90s. Steve Vogel was generally helpful, but here is the weird part. They supposedly had a couple of S60's used as service loaners that we could try on days when they were not in use. We waited for follow up for a couple of weeks, but finally gave up - we have selected a different vehicle.

Great service at Fields Volvo Madison
I highly recommend working with Chris at Fields Volvo in Madison! He is honest and very knowledgeable about Volvos. I had a great experience there and am so pleased with my brand new Volvo xc40!

Poor management
Went to buy a new Volvo the sales man was in his office with a client. The Sales manager and General Manager where sitting in there office. After about 10 minuets of waiting we left. It is understandable that the salesman was busy. There was no reason either the sales manager or GM could not of came out to address us . Went across the road and bought a BMW

Ultimately a good experience
They made an error initially (forgetting to actually order the tires after my appointment had been set for a month in advance), but I was very impressed with how seriously they took the error and adapted to make sure things went smoothly after that.

Had Complimentary Checkup and ended up with all four...
Had Complimentary Checkup and ended up with all four tires lowered to 30 pounds. The recomended pressure is 36 pounds. They lowered tire pressure set off my sensors. The recall was performed without any issues. My door closes alot better now.

Great service
Anton went above and beyond to make sure my Jaguar was fixed properly. He was hampered by unavailability of parts but he was relentless in tracking down alternative sources. He epitomizes the concept of good customer service.
