Not a good experience

Had an appt to view a 2016 Camaro 2LT. I assumed the car would be ready to me to see and drive but it hadn’t been dug out of the lot. It took about 45 mins for them to move like 10 cars to get it out. Test drive went well. Salesperson offered little info on how features worked in car. Next day I made an offer which was to be presented to salespersons manager. Waited for a phone call back and didn’t receive. I called back to see what was going on and was told I’d be called back in an hour or so. Never got a call back. Finally I called the next day to find the owner wouldn’t budge on the price. Well thanks for letting me know. Worked out well because I purchased a 2016 2LT from another dealer who worked with me on price and it has more features and is in beautiful shape. This other dealer worked with me and was extremely professional

Excellent car buying experience

As unpleasant as car shopping can be, buying 2 new cars at Rockland Hyundai was a great experience, especially working with Damian Dwyer! The negotiations were fair, his knowledge of the vehicles was superb!

Caution!

Last June, this dealership contacted me to see if I would be interested in ending my current Hyundai lease early to get into a new lease. I was already over my miles so I figured I would check it out. They basically conned me into a new lease and before I signed off, I made sure to ask if everything was covered as I wanted to insure I would not get any kind of bill from Hyundai Finance. Well, sure enough about a month ago I received a bill for $852 because I ended my lease early!! I followed up with Javier, my original salesperson, who promised to look into it. I finally had to go over there and what a nightmare!! The finance manager, Fausto, finally emerged and let me tell you he is a real piece of you know what. I mean I do not know how these people sleep at night. They basically lied and said there was no way they could have known about this charge which is laughable. I'm quite sure they knew I would get hit with this but failed to mention it. After all, I am sure I am not the first person they conned into this situation. They are especially good at playing good cop, bad cop so beware. These people are crooks, plain and simple.

Exceptional Customer Service

I recently leased a new 2018 Santa Fe. I initially went to Rockland Hyundai because they had a large selection of Santa Fe's to choose from. My experience with Javier, the salesman, was exceptional. He wasn't pushy and worked quickly to find me the right car at the right price. I was driving away in my new car that same afternoon. My only negative comment is that, after a few days of driving, I noticed a vibration. I brought it in to the service department, where Albert was extremely kind and helpful. My tires had flat spots and all four tires needed to be replaced. I was disappointed that this wasn't something that was addressed before I was sold the car but it was handled very well and was only a minor inconvenience. I would still recommend Rockland Hyundai for their exceptional customer service in both the sales and service department.

Wonderful & professional salespeople

I had a wonderful experience with the salesman who assisted me with my used car selection. I appreciate his expertise & his professionalism. There was an issue with the sd card for the navigation & they took care of it in a timely fashion.. Im pleased with the service thay provided & continue to do so ��

I highly recommend Don Columbia at Rockland Hyundai. He is not your "typical salesman". He was very professional and honest. Went out of his way to find the SUV I wanted. Better than a trip to the dentist - pain free.
