John made my vehicle purchase seamless, he had the right vehicle for my needs and provided a competitive price for my trade in and worked on the financing... while I test drove the vehicle and was upfront and honest. I highly recommend John and Autos Etc, he has his service team if needed and is easy to work with!
I have purchased two cars and was extremely satisfied Felt well taken care of and very professionally run. I trust them which is unusual for car purchase
These guys were great. I was a little apprehensive at first about working with a used car dealer, but they had the specific vehicle I was looking for.... Wesley and John were very helpful and friendly, with no hard sell. They gave me a fair offer for my trade, and the vehicle I purchased is in excellent condition. I’m very pleased with this dealership and the transaction. I will definitely check them out again when I need to replace my next vehicle, and I recommend them.
Excellent transaction. Excellent responsiveness to email. Transparent and rapid transaction. No surprises or funny business. Good family people who clearly... care about their reputation. The car was professionally reconditioned and any upcoming service needs were explained. Price was very good for the quality of the vehicle. I would definitely trust them for buying another car and will probably drive out of my way to have the vehicle serviced there.
An extreme pleasure to deal with. Would go the extra mile for them. Honest and up front. Thank you for the business.
My wife and I were driving by this small independant dealership and stopped by to basically "window shop". We were met by John who was extremely friendly... and made us feel welcome while we browsed at their selection of late model (many lease returns) vehicles. A 2012 Mercedes C250 Coupe caught our eye and within a few minutes, we were test driving the car. As several other reviewers here stated, anyone can buy a Toyota/Nissan/Honda, but a Mercedes is something special. Lease returns often make financial sense as these cars have depreciated to affordable levels. We checked area prices and this car was priced extremely well so we decided it would be foolish not to make the purchase. Having bought over 30 cars/trucks over a 33 year period, I must admit that this was, by far, the easiest & quickest automobile purchase I've ever made. The loan rate was acceptable, the price fantastic, and the processing time impressive. Ellie (John's mom) sat down with us and was on point with the paperwork and I figured everything was signed in a few short minutes. After the test drive, John and I discussed a couple small issues where he promised to take of and stood by his word. Within 5 days, the car received a brake service, a few paint blemishes repaired and she was ready to go! I arrived this afternoon to pick her up and the plates were mounted, inspection sticker on the windshield, and I even received a gasoline voucher. This level of service is extremely rare and welcome in today's society. Although this is my first purchase from Auto Etc., I have a good feeling that this will not be my last.
I reached out to the dealership when I found a Mercedes online that I liked. John responded almost immediately and was in no way overbearing, pushy or... the like. He was helpful, answered all of my questions and emailed me the Carfax, before I ever stepped on to the lot. After everything checked out to my satisfaction, I scheduled an appointment. The dealership itself is small and homey. I liked that John was casually dressed (on a Saturday), which added a layer of comfort to the discussion -- he was a real person, having a real conversation, not phony at all. I had two of my three children (under the age of 6) with me and John was so courteous -- letting them watch cartoons, run around and get drinks out of the employee kitchen. Striking the deal was quite possibly the easiest negotiation I'd ever been part of. The price was very reasonable and he gave me no hassle on my trade-in -- giving me fair market value. I had been to other dealerships earlier in the week that tried to low ball me. We had everything done within 15 minutes. But, even though the buying experience was a pleasure, what really put this dealership over the top was the personalized service. When I turned in my old car and drove off in my new Mercedes, I quickly realized I left a small memento from my goddaughter in the car. I called to see if there was any way they had it. John's mom answered my call and made it a point to go to the car to retrieve it. I can't imagine any dealer being nice enough to take time out of their busy schedule to do this for a customer. I was extremely pleased, across the board. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. It's one of the last family run businesses that treats its customers with dignity and respect. Kudos to John and his family at Autos, Etc.
I am from the North shore and was looking for a used car. I didn't want a Toyota Honda Hyundai Nissan or the same cars everyone else has. I wanted a little... more luxury. A friend suggested Auto Etc in Hanover. I spoke to John over the phone he seemed really nice so I went down on a Sat. Within an hour I purchased a beautiful 2008 Lexus. The car is in unbelievable clean and excellent condition. Very reasonably priced. This is a family business and was refreshing to deal with. Johns mom works there and took care of Everything! You can also purchase a warranty. I took my Mom and Dad with me (80's) and they felt the same way They have been buying cars at the big dealer's for years. No doubt had I bought this car North shore it would be alot more.
I am from the North of Boston and was looking for a used car. I was nervous to buy used but wanted a little more luxury then the typical Toyota Nissan... Hyundai that you see everyone else have. A friend suggested I go to Auto Etc in Hanover Ma. What a an excellent experience! Great inventory of immaculate well priced vehicles! I purchased my 2008 Lexus within an hour of arriving. You can purchase a warranty also. John, Carl his Mom and the rest of the crew take care of Everything! No pressure and very reasonable. I took my Mom and Dad (in there 80's) with me and they felt the same way and they have bought cars from the large dealerships on the Northshore before. It was so much better then going to a large dealer and more reasonably priced.
Went out of are way to go look at a car at Auto Etc.. Was meet by John. It was a great time as there was no pressure at any time while looking at the car.... Made a great offer on our used as well but just wasn't what we really wanted. Followed up with us a few weeks later to see if we found what we were looking for as well as offered to help us still to look for the right on. Bottom line don't be afraid to go look at his inventory thinking that you'll be fast talked into buying something you don't want. You won't! John doesn't work that way. He want you to be happy with what your buying.
Was looking to trade in my Corvette on a luxury high end Mercedes and know quite a few people that have boughten cars from John at Auto etc. That spoke... very highly of the dealership. After going online and finding a car that interested me I emailed John about the car, within an hour or so John called me and we set up a meeting to check out each other's car. John and his dad had the car out ready for me to take a ride. It didn't take long to make the deal , Johns mom quickly did the paper work and I was off in my new/used Benz 7k miles. There are not many dealerships out there that like to write you the check after the sale but this was no problem with them. Great family, great service. Can't wait for my wife to get sick of her Jeep and buy another high end vehicle from them. Lowest prices around with lowest miles on the vehicles. Thank you all!!! See you soon.
