OMG I had the best experience buying my car at R&D Motors, all thanks to Gus!! He literally went above and beyond to make the whole thing so easy and actually fun and exciting. ​Usually car buying feels like such a chore but Gus has so much positive energy and was genuinely so hyped for me to get my new ride. He’s super professional and knows his stuff but also makes sure your having a good time while getting a fair deal. If u want a stress-free experience and actually want to be excited leaving the lot go see Gus!! 🚗💨✨

Everybody at the office was very nice, Gus in specific was very helpful and everything went by faster than I expected.

I approaches a vehicle back in May 22nd with r&b Motors they never turned in the paperwork that came and repoed the car never had license plates on it I just had one paper plate July 22nd on a 2012 Mercedes Benz E350 4matic and now since I told them that I took my paperwork to DMV to see what's going on with the plates on the car while I haven't got the plates yet so they came back and said the car wasn't never in my name they haven't turned in no paperwork on the Mercedes Benz so if y'all get a car with r&b Motors please check your VIN number because all kind of stuff came under up under this car I had the car said it been stolen and been through stealth and the insurance company paid it off it's a total loss and they still trying to sell the car it's a Savage is junk it is a never should be extra a title a registration so mean and saying that's why they came to repo the car it's not because the payments is not because the insurance nobody's not going to make payments on the car and the paperwork is not even completed y'all didn't took my money now you don't want to give my money back because paperwork will never done in the DMV said they should give my money back my refer back do not purchase a car from r&D Motors they are bad business I can't believe that the bureau is letting this company go on and on selling people Savage and junk cars it's not right and they taking people's money y'all need the closest car locked down cuz Gus is not a good worker he lies to you in your face all of them up there do not answer the phone they bad business so I advise everybody please check your VIN number if you get a car from r&b Motors this car lot need to be closed down they need to be investigating they need to go to the car lock and look at all the VIN numbers because r&b motor is not a good car lot to get cars from because it's bad business they need to close this car lot down taking people money and I don't know why y'all letting this car lot go on so long selling Savage and junk cars to people everybody needs a money but they have to get everybody money that approaches cost with them cuz the cars turn out to be a lemon junk Savage bad car lock bad car lot please check your VIN number check the VIN numbers probably come back Savage stolen and they wrong for trying to repo the car never the paperwork never turned in had me again full coverage on the car car never title or registered in my name they had me wasting money on insurance full insurance so y'all be careful watch out for Gus cuz he lied to you right in your face the one that sell the cars to you make sure y'all check the VIN number before y'all buy anything off that lock yeah they might have got some good customers on here because they probably know them already been dealing with the car lock for years but now the car lock really do sucks but after your money they selling Savage and junk cars make sure you check your venom to make sure your paperwork is turned in before even purchase a car that's a bad bad business car lot need to be shut down r&b Motors on East 253rd Street 78751 be we were check your VIN numbers and this my first time dealing with the car lock and this is what I get that's how they treat people and I'm surprised they just letting us call out just go on and do whatever they want to do to people they need to close this car lot really like down they getting this guy's got these cars from the xxxxxxx option and they junk they don't check them out so Gus with your line self you not a good worker use a bad worker all y'all in that building is bad you don't answer the phone calls and then when somebody tell you something you don't transfer the message like the lady was going out of town she had family business to take care of the one being in the back in the office came up there and told us that somebody stole my card that I'm not going to be able to make the payment until my car I come but y'all check it out the same day my check came they can't even repoed the c

Gwen carruthers had a bad experience with Gus now they've been having a car like 3 weeks now it's July is going to be August so they not trying to reach out to me I called they did not answer the phone and next I guess they going to keep my money and they've been having the car so I guess they're going to try to put a repo on my account in the car is in they position and always been in a position I haven't had the car in my position either a month I'm on the car back in June and July and they still have the car it's going on another month so y'all do not deal with Gus r&b Motors in the owner he know what's going on he let us lie in my face in the car was in the f****** specialist but it was not it was parking at Allie behind the bush they lied to me and my face so whoever trying to give y'all a good review day line cuz y'all is a bad experience car lot yeah I want to take people money y'all have my money and y'all also have the car y'all not working on the car cuz lied to me in my face so now I'm going to go get me a legal lawyer to take y'all to small claims court to get my money back since y'all don't want to reach out to me and work nothing out with me and y'all think y'all just going to take my money just like that I don't think so y'all need to get a better business in the understanding how people feel when y'all lie to them and they face that is not cool for no car dealer to do anything like that and the owner know about it Gus you are habitual liar the whole car lot all the peoples that working there they down with everything they hook it up to the machine they turn the light off saying that you took it to the specialist and they really have not so another thing y'all put a repo on my account in the car is not in my possession it been in your possession for 3 weeks in July 3 weeks in June never had the car to myself not even a good month so don't go out there and lie but I'm going to give me a lawyer so let me see a repo on my account and I didn't even bring the car back y'all been having a car so that will be a big lie on the outside r&b Motors Gus big liar the car lock is no good they good to some people and some people they not that part so y'all out there reviewing this y'all be careful at that car lot and you're reading the good reviews read the bad reviews what goes on if that car lot how they lie to you and stuff in your face and then they don't want to give your money back and then they don't want to fix the car it's they fall but anyway I'll be careful out there cuz it's a liar in the owner two and y'all have all these cars but you don't want to put nobody in another car to fix the situation but y'all still want to continue lying to me in my face Gus you no good I thought you was a cool person I thought it was a cool car lot but it's not a lie to you in your face take your money and then I want to get your money back and then they going to turn around put repo on you and you don't even have the car and they've been having a car that's crazy

If I could give zero stars I would, so lets get to the juicy parts.There have been multiple issues with this establishment in the last 2 years that I think everyone should know and be warned about!I have bought three cars from them over the last 2 years.The first two cars initially both needed repairs and we were told by Gabby in the office that they would do the work and get the cars ready PRIOR to purchasing and driving them off the lot.They lied. Nothing was fixed.The Volvo we bought from them never ran, overheated and leaked fluids constantly from faulty parts they claimed they fixed,so we ended up eventually giving it back and paying ANOTHER $1000 to get into a different vehicle,after having paid on a broken down car for a year fighting with R and D to fix it.Then the truck we bought from them at the same time as volvo,they also lied and never fixed the mass airflow sensor they said they replaced and the transmission went out instantly.Their response to me about the repairs not being done was that their mechanic had been fabricating repair documents and saying he fixed issues on vehicles but never did,which I don't believe in the slightest.I believe this is the M.O. of this carlot and that this is how they operate, to deceive and sell consumers lemons!So what do I do after being lied to and am now paying on broken down cars with zero help or honest reponse from R& D,I write a Google review to warn others. R& D motors then took it upon themselves to come repossess my truck,the only vehicle running at the time despite me still paying on the other broken down Volvo.THEY REPOSESSED MY VEHICLE AND CALLED MY NOTE "DUE" BECAUSE I WROTE A BAD REVIEW ON THEM!!! THIS IS NOT COMMUNIST CHINA OR NORTH KOREA! THIS IS AUSTIN TEXAS USA AND I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SHARE MY OPINION ON A PUBLIC FORUM! So of course I try and go up the chain of command.The owner Rob is a JOKE and obviously has no spine and will never get on the phone,so the only person in the office who had any pull at the time and was honest was Rosie.She actually told us when we came in to get our vehicle back that they have had people with picket signs out front protesting them before.I wonder why?I'm not the first or last to be treated this way by them. So now fast forward to two weeks ago.We still have the truck and now another little suv to replace the Volvo lemon they sold us 2 years ago.I wake up one Saturday morning and the truck is gone. I knew it was R&D repo again,but had no clue why, as my husband regularly speaks with Gabby in the office to make our payments.She NEVER told us that back in June of last year, or so they claim, that we missed a payment. AND THEY WAITED ALMOST AN ENTIRE YEAR LATER TO COME PICK IT UP.Out of the blue, no notice no mention of it ever! Needless to say we are completely DONE with R&D motors. We've been paying on a truck for 2 years and are taking that loss because I wouldn't give them a penny more to get it back after how we have been treated.The owner Rob, still spineless and won't get on the phone.The only honest person was the repo man who let us know that this is an everyday thing with these people and there are SO many others out here being treated like we have. This place is a scam. They will let you pay on a vehicle and then fabricate some xx story of a late payment from A YEAR AGO and come get your vehicle in the middle of the night with zero communication before or after they repo you.These types of carlots do this so they can continue to turn the same vehicle over multiple times and in Texas they don't even have to wait until you are "past due".At the repo lot there was cars there from R&D that only owed a couple hundred bucks or the day after their insurance lapsed they go repo.I submitted complaints to the AG of TX, BBB,and now I'll be the one paying picketers and reviewers to post up.I'd rather do that than pay these crooks on the truck or other suv I still have, which will stay behind my locked 8 ft tall gate indefinitely.

This is my sixth vehicle purchase from R&D Motors and I am proud to say they have been a joy to work with. Yes we hit a couple ruff-n-tuff moments, but we were able to work it out and come to an all around agreement that works for all. That's why I've been with them d ok long and recommend them highly. Great selection of vehicles, friendly staff, and easy financing. We fell in love with a Honda CR-V, we were approved for financing on site, and drove away in about 1 hour. Fantastic! Thank you Rob and Rosie for the fast and helpful response!

This dealarship had a car that We were interested in but ot was very overpriced. We never received a call back from them. The place is very hard to even look at a car. I would not recomnend doung business with them.

This dealer treated me great.i got a very nice vehicle and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer.
