Very deceiving dealership.

Very deceiving dealership. They have hidden fees that you are not aware of. Would try my hardest not to buy from them.

DONT GO HERE

DONT EVER GO TO THIS LOCATION of AUTO REPUBLIC!! I spoke to Juan two days ago who was VERY rude on the phone about the car I saw that I wanted. When I decided I was still interested in that particular car I called back I spoke to Rebecca who was VERY nice but when Juan realized I was coming in for an appointment with Rebecca (instead of him), he sold the car we wanted out from under us. We had our financing all set and everything which HE knew. All we needed to do was come see it and test drive it. We planned to purchase this car yesterday. However, when Rebecca realzed that Juan was trying to sell it before we got to our appt. at 4:00 she called us to tell us to come early which we did. We got there at 3:20 but Juan had already gotten another customer to test drive it and purchase the car by the time we arrived. So UNCOOL. He was just trying to beat his nice co-worker (Rebecca) out of a commission, because I refused to work with him due to his rudeness. Luckily we found the exact same year car with less miles only a few miles away and got a great deal, extra perks and they treated us like GOLD the entire time we were there. I'd never recommend Auto Republic Cypress. Very SHADY! Rebecca go find a sales job at another dealership that will treat you better than that!

Hi Carolyn, Thanks for taking a minute to write us some feedback of your experience here. I wanted to speak with management about everything you mention in your review, since it seemed very detailed. Our manager mention that you initially called in to look at the vehicle and asked for a discount since the vehicle did not include an owner's manual, which we actually did have for the car, along with one key. A few days later, on Saturday, you called and mentioned you were coming in, but this was 15 minutes prior to another customer arriving to look at the same vehicle. We called you back and let you know that there is someone else looking at the car as a courtesy. You thanked us for the call, but still decided you wanted to come in, to see if the first customer here would purchase the car - which they ended up purchasing. To further clarify, Juan was not the person who spoke with you, it was Javier. We see a lot of this, where customers want to go back and forth or negotiate over the course of a few days on a set-price which is listed as haggle-free, on a vehicle that has been researched and comp'd for the market, beating 9 out of 10 private party and retail competitors but then miss out on the car because someone else wanted it and realized it was a great deal. We are extremely sorry we weren't able to make a deal, and this has happened to me a few times in the course of my life, and I know it doesn't feel great. That said, we do get fresh inventory in daily across all locations, and if you'd like, we can keep an eye out on a comparable (or better) vehicle for you. There was genuinely no malice intended, the vehicle simply sold prior to you deciding you wanted it at the price it was listed at, and for that we're truly sorry. We unfortunately don't hold vehicles and it's always been first-come-first serve here, as noted in the 'About Us' section on the website. Carolyn, we're really sorry we weren't able to make a deal, and wish you all the best. I'm sure you found a vehicle you love already, but if you didn't and need further help or assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and work directly with our manager, who would love to help you. Never responded

Messaged them multiple times about a vehicle i was really interested in buying, through 3 different car finding sites, and never heard anything back from them once. Even phone calls/messages never returned. They sold the vehicle about week later. Really sucks. Great attention to detail and the customer, NOT!

Great Experience at Auto Republic Cypress

Shout out to the team at Auto Republic for making it possible for me to drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I went to the dealer feeling like I had no chance of being approved for this awesome car. I'll be honest, my credit is not the greatest and I don't make tons of money. But the guys at Auto Republic made sure I left satisfied and happy with the car and the customer service. JR was very attentive, he made sure I was taken care of as soon as I pulled into the lot. I didn't have to go find anyone, he made sure I was helped right off the bat. Juan was the one who initially contacted me over the phone. When I was at the lot, he made the time to show me the car and explain the specs. He's chill, knowledgeable, and put no pressure on me. When crunching numbers, he was willing to go back and forth to get me at a comfortable monthly payment. Bryan helped me out with financial paperwork. He's a pro in the sales/finance department. He did not try to pressure me into any unnecessary add-ons or waste of money upgrades. Plus he made sure I got copies of everything. One thing that I really like is that the team wanted to know more about me versus trying to get me to sign on the dotted line. I know their goal is to sell cars, but just as they learned about my situation, I learned some things about them too. They are hardworking people just like the rest of us. As a solo woman who was shopping for a car, I didn't feel surrounded by sharks. They took the time to communicate with me in order to make sure I was happy with a car and a monthly payment that fits my situation. My Jeep is in great condition and I got it below KBB. The low jack is a bonus, I like the added security knowing that should a theft occur, there's a way to trace the location of my vehicle. I recommend Auto Republic to anyone looking for a great deal and great customer service. Thanks guys!

My car buying experience with the Auto Republic of Cypress was a good and stress free one. The Sales Consultant Bill was very informative of the process of purchasing my vehicle. I got a good deal on a vehicle with decent millage and great mechanical performance.

The best place to buy a car

I never thought I would say this “We had the best experience buying a car!” Thanks to Albert and Jr., from Auto Republic in Cypress. There is no secret, buying a car can be a traumatic experience especially when you have to deal with unscrupulous sales persons. It happened to us. A few years ago, my husband and I bought a car from a dealer. The process was so painful and enraging that we never wanted to repeat it again. To ensure this, we decided to only buy a car from a dealer with no haggle price policy. We were in the market for a newer car. After searching for a few months, yesterday afternoon, we found the car we wanted and the dealer we wanted to buy from - a Volvo XC60 and the Auto Republic in Cypress. I called and talked to Albert. After a short conversation, we decided to see the car. In less than one hour after we arrived, we bought the car! While Albert walked us through the buying process, Jr., his manager worked on getting us the best finance deal. There was no pressure, no drama, nothing! We walked in, saw the car, took it for a ride, and bam! Done! Don’t buy a car without first checking them out! They have an amazing selection, prices, and staff.
