Incompetence across this dealership is evident across all...
Incompetence across this dealership is evident across all functions. Avoid the frustration. I don't want to call their way of working misleading; I just believe they don't know what they're doing across the board. I paid for a transfer from a Carmax dealer in Houston and it took them 10 days to confirm arrival. I test drove the car and outlined the fixes needed to close the deal. I even took pictures of each one detailing each problem, which was agreed by them to be fixed. 3 weeks later after multiple follow ups (I paid for the transfer), I was told by Pedro (salesman) the car was ready; upon quick inspection (without being very knowledgeable of mechanics) I could tell they failed to do most of it. I was convinced to buy the car with my case and repairs being moved to customer service and the service department to manage, which according to their management, were in a better position than sales to take care of what was pending. Myles and Patrick (service) have managed to continue wasting my time exceeding expectations and reason with multiple visits They promised it would only take one visit, after an additional inspection, to complete all repairs. I had no choice but to go for the additional inspection. Almost a month later I was asked to show up again for the final scheduled service. I've been there at least 3 additional times and repairs are still pending . Avoid the frustration - I don't have experience with any other Carmax. I can tell you for sure this dealer needs to figure out how to manage a business.

Happy with the 3 cars I bought here.
Bought 3 cars here and was very pleased with everything all around. Shopping for my next vehicle now and feel confident I will have another great experience. The sales person plays a huge part in this process.

I have been purchasing vehicles here for the last seven...
I have been purchasing vehicles here for the last seven years. In my opinion this is the only option to receive a fair deal in the car industry.

very poor service
the salesman was very poor because of the fact that they charged me 200,000 dollars for a used 2014 Honda civic it is a horrible pricing for a used car that was damaged I will never shop here ever again you should not shop at car max because they will over charge you PERIOD.

Car service
I have purchased 4 vehicles from Carmax previously, in Miami Lakes and Nashville, TN, I just purchased my 5th car I am very disappointed with the car and the Ft. Lauderdale branch. I was also feel I was jipped on selling my car to Carmax they under paid by about $2000. I need to file a complaint I have taken my current car 5 times for service and it is still not right.

Terrible place, sell your car elsewhere!!!
My husband and I really needed to sell our leased Honda Civics because we were moving. Yes the customer service was nice but they basically took advantage and robbed us. We had to pay them, way too much in my opinion, for them to take our practically brand new cars with little mileage. I will never go to another Carmax for any reason.

Be ware! Wolves in sheeps clothing!
Very unprofessional and not competitive at all! Don’t shop or sell your vehicle her. You will be disappointed! Trade ins are appraised $2000-3000 less than average trade in value. Cars are also $1000-$2000 overpriced.
