CarMax Southwest Freeway

I was never contacted at all. So, I decided to not even look at CarMax anymore, period.

I bought a 2017 Honda Civic last week. I was preapproved before I walked into the dealership. There were a couple of issues once I began completing the buying process, but after 3 hours at the dealership, I walked out with my new vehicle.

I wanted to buy a used car I already have been there once a couple of weeks before and the gentleman that help me was very helpful but I had to call equinox credit to remove something from my credit report. When I came back I couldn’t find the same person so a young lady help but it was a big disappointment I explain what had happen but she didn’t even tried to help me Don’t recommend this place to anyone.

We purchased a fleet vehicle that had some ac issues and transmission problems. Carmax jumped right into correcting the issues and provided a rental car each time. I will definitely purchase from here again.

Rees was my greeter and was an excellent source of information and sales expediter. Rees explained the CarMax process and then Listened to the car features I required. He did searches of car max inventory, searches of manufacturers’ sites for additional info, and requested transfer of a vehicle from another location. There was no pressure to buy (CarMax has a five day return policy). Paperwork was efficient, and I even got help getting both the car I bought and the car I arrived in home. It was my first solo car buying experience so I especially appreciated that I got a car that suited me at a fair price and no hassle

Laurence was very professional and he got me in the car of my choice in less time. he addressed my concerns. Even though they were undergoing construction. All the sales men/women were smiling as they said hi to me.

I have visited this Carmax location several times over the years, but I?ve never actually bought from them. I appreciate their selection and no pressure process. If you prefer used cars like I do, it?s great to go to a Carmax and compare several makes and models in one place and get your trade appraised. This time around I worked with Harold Speights, who did a great job of finding the cars I was looking for. This is harder than it sounds - the cars don?t always get parked where they belong after a test drive, especially on a busy day, so he had to do a lot of walking around. We ended up unable to find the exact vehicles listed online, which is the reason this Carmax doesn?t get 5 stars. But Harold got me into the right things to try out. Once I narrowed down my interests after a few drives at a few different places, he texted me some stock numbers of cars at several Carmax locations with free transfers. I ended up preferring a different vehicle from a different dealer, but that?s not a knock on Carmax or Harold. Having the written appraisal in hand helped me get a better deal. If you are shopping for a used car, Carmax is a great place to go. Only thing I?d change is that Carmax could do a better job tracking where the vehicles are on the lot.

The salespeople and staff at this Carmax are absolutely wonderful. The salesman (Farhad) that worked with me made the sales process very easy and understandable. He answered all my questions and didn't give me all that salesman lingo. Plus, he was very honest. I appreciate Carmax's no haggle policy. There was an inital problem with the car within 1-2 days of me getting it and not only was the staff immediately all over the problem, they even gave me a loaner car for my convienence while my car was being fixed. I will definitely recommend them and I will there again with no hesitation.
