Horrible experience. Was looking to purchase a vehicle from this location got it sent to this location from another Carmax its been an entire month since the vehicle was sent to this location & I still don't have it! Dealership didn't try to accommodate at all. I'm still without a car

I was told I was approve and to come in and choose a vehicle , got their and was excited to hear I was approved in person , then was told it’s was one final step then the car salesman went away for a while came back and said let’s do the credit application to see how much you’re approved for, which I nwas told was done before I came in! Waste of time
Great customer service.
Bought a car on Wednesday night noticed the brake light was out. Told me to bring it back on Monday and they would take care of it. Did the oh I am in a cabin filter and even filled it up. Will shop again.

I had a good experience with Chris Price awesome sales man.. no pushy sales tactics.. he was honest and straight to the point.. I have bad credit.. and was turned down from alot of different dealers Marino, Hawk,Naperville and Shermans.. all said No.. but Carmax have me thre car I wanted wth super low miles.. This was actually for the Schaumburg location. I purchased a 2010 Traverse in 2014 and within two years I was told by CarMax that it was worth $18,000 less than I had paid them for it due to "major engine and transmission issues". The transmission issue I had raised alarms about right away and was told it was totally normal. The engine issue was for a bad timing chain! On a vehicle that was only 6 years old and had less than 100,000 miles on it. The front end needed to be replaced, new tires, the DVD system as well as the power windows on the entire right side! All were part of the 125 point inspection that I was told was the reason I was paying more for. They REFUSED to help me because I had not purchased their extended warranty (MaxCare). PLEASE BEWARE! YOU'RE NOT BEING SOLD THE TRUTH! My second car I purchased out of necessity from CarMax had immediate engine trouble and they kept it at the dealership for nearly a month to repair all of the issues and gave me a hard time about demanding a loaner car instead of having to pay for a rental while they fixed a car I had purchased less than a month before. They claim to sell better cars and that's what you pay a premium for and they claim to have your back. DO NOT BELIEVE IT! They don't care about you, only your money and forcing you to buy their MaxCare coverage "or else"!
