Left me driving on an illegal tag....No reg

Well, can you all create an environment at the Clearwater location where customers get the registration for the cars they buy???? Where Managers answer the phone when you are trying to get a dead temp tag resolved, where customers don't sit on hold for 15 straight minutes only to call back and be hung up on? Also, the sales guy Adam there only takes your money and then either doesnt reply or sends you on a wild goose chase to get the car HE SOLD you legal on the road...not to mention he has the personality of a saltine cracker. Terrible customer service...Just bought my car there less than 60 days ago and if I could take it back I would. Terrible follow up, still dont have my tag or registration, they have me driving on a DEAD TEMP tag and do not care...wont answer the phone. Ill never buy another car at Carmax and Ill tell everyone I know to avoid it like COVID.

Great Customer service, TY Bessie !!

I was in need for a title as per the original one got lost in shipping, I called the business office and spoke to Bessie, I explained to her the situation and she said she will help me, but need more time to process it. Weeks later she called me to let me know that she got the title and she is sending it to me via FEDEX and gave me the tracking number, WOW thats a great service there. Thank you so much Bessie for your help and for following up with me, great customer service and Bessie is a great worker, 5 stars!!

No response.

Stopped responding immediately after initial contact. Asked me how I prefer to correspond, I replied and that was it. Been a week now - I can only guess they do not need my business.

Best Experience I've ever had

The best sales and service experience I have had purchasing as vehicle. I would not hesitate to return to CarMax , the next time I am in market for my next vehicle.

Great experience

My boyfriend bought his car from Carmax and it was a great experience. So when I needed a new car I looked at Carmax as well. They had everything I wanted but I thought I would get a better deal at a dealership... Boy was I wrong. Went to three different dealerships almost went through with a deal but they couldn't get me a good interest rate. It was so painful and awful I had decided to give up and just sink money into my current car and try again next year. I had an appointment at carmax the following Sunday and Dwyane called me to verify the time. I told him what happened the previous day and said I would be keeping my car because I needed a good rate and didn't want to be making crazy payments. He said, I hear you and totally understand, I'm happy to help you whenever you're ready. Just so you know when you are ready I have a good rate for you so I know we can find you something to make you happy. I was surprised because the other dealership said we couldn't get close to what I needed. Well folks, I'm in a new car, my payments aren't crazy and I have peace of mind. We are Carmax people from now on. Thanks Dwayne in Clearwater!

Don’t believe what they say!!!!

I buy a vw cc2012 ,2 years ago.23.000$thinking carmax is a piece of mind.i allready buy car with carmax. My surprise is after one year the motor start to leak around the belt. After breaking down I went to the mechanic and mention to me ,this car somebody already fixed the same area with blue paste joint.i try to talk to the extra warranty insurance i Take with carmax clearwater .but the warranty was good for One year.so no luck with that. Now I have a car with 5 recalls and the value is 8000$and a loan for 11000$. How a car can loose so much value so fast. I consider this car like a lemon. Thank you carmax to not mentioning that to me.i hope carmax will call me. 908 334 1046.

Sold my car quick and for a great price!

My experience was hassle free and easy. My salesperson Robert Feldt was awesome - I recommend seeing him if you need a car or want to sell a car! Clean facility with a kids playroom. Everyone was friendly and looked happy to work there

Bought a toyota tacoma 2010 today

I have had the best experience today with Aaron belbeck...he stayed with me untill the deal was done!!...i have never had that happen before from any car dealership...he made this transition so easy and headache free for us...thanks to his help and work we were able to get my husband the truck hes been craving to have...my future dealings to find a vehicle will be with him at carmax again!!!...thank you so much Aaron for all the work and dedication you did for us!!!...we will recomend u with anyone looking for a vehicle...
