Don't buy a car from here!
Purchased a car at Rockville location the beginning of August. The engine completely blew out 2 weeks later on 270. The car sat in the Carmax Frederick location for a month for the repair. Now I find out the water pump is bad as well. Of course my 3 months are up for repairs. The dealer had to have known these issues

Great experience, surprised with customer service
I am buying a used car after 8 years, and this was great experience. No haggle is what I care. I was not forced to buy GAP insurance or anything else. The only complaint is, the lady taking down payment at the cashier was hesitant to tell me the details of the transactions before making a payment and showing attitude, but everyone else was great. I highly recommend this carmax.

I am buying a used car after 8 years, and this was great experience. No haggle is what I care. I was not forced to buy GAP insurance or anything else. Do not buy your car from this CarMax
Avoid this CarMax dealership at all costs, because the sales people are bunch of liars and shady characters. Let me share with you of what happened. We wanted to buy a car and we were willing to walkout with a car if they treated us fairly. First of all, the car we liked had problems, and it was driving funny as well. So that that gave my wife a lot of suspicion, and kind of turned off a bit. We asked if they can address the issues of the car before we buy? They said it was not priority to fix the car unless we buy it! Who wants to buy a car with bunch of check engine lights on? No thanks! Also, the hold policy on their website states that it is good for seven days. Apparently, this CarMax doesn’t honor that policy, and the sales person gave us ten different answers about it. So you expected response from the management when we emailed them about the issue. We have heard nothing about the repair status and simply put the car back on the website. Bottom line, terrible service and experience at this CarMax dealership!

tayo was very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate about selling and presenting cars. He has the spirit of excellency. I went to a Criswell Honda with a check from my credit union and the salesman told me i didn't have enough for the car i wanted and told me to get a car that was 1 one older than the one i wanted to trade in. Because Tayo explained to me about increasing my loan check. As a result i was able to purchase a 2008 Honda accord in excellent condition. He sold my husband a car the same day.
