Had everything done online got there was pretty approved for the car I wanted and of course the guy went in my account and said o we can't use bank statements to prove income then had to redo my stuff came back with an outrageous down payment mess up my original approval so I can't get that back just wondering why they do this to get more down they did this to me 3 years ago when I bought my car so I will be calling corporate Monday last time I did I got 2 people fired and got my car and did I mention Paul did all this while smiling even after he screwed me out of my car

The Salesperson Made an Amazing Car Buying Experience We went to CarMax in Independence to look for a mid-sized SUV with relatively low mileage at a reasonable price, and we found what we were looking for. A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. I have bought a few cars in the past and I always went to “traditional” dealerships to purchase them. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! No sales pressure, no haggling over price, just a straight up purchase with no hidden or confusing terms or agreements. Everything was laid out on the table. Plain and simple. The salesperson, Austin Hubbard, was a pleasure to work with. We were facing a very difficult personal situation that could have easily made the car buying experience extremely challenging and stressful. Austin was kind, patient and understanding throughout the entire process. From the moment he greeted us at the front door until the moment we drove away, Austin was there to provide help, guidance and even some words of encouragement. He more than once told us, “I have your back”, and his actions backed that up. I found a car I wanted I was gonna buy it. They wanted to charge me over $1000 to ship the car to my house. I asked if there was a way that we could like work a deal out to work some of the shipping fees and they refused to budge like was stuck on that number wouldn’t go no lower and come to find out. The car wasn’t even worth as much as they were trying to sell it for I would never do business with Carmax
