I was looking for a Toyota Sienna. The at a location a couple hundred miles away. The communication seemed a little cold. I was just told there is a several... hundred dollar transfer fee so I went with a different dealership.
Don’t waste your time. Way too overpriced. Wanted to buy my nice running and driving car for $500. Was a complete and utter waste of time.

CarMax Horrible Experience! The business office made errors on my financing paperwork that resulted in a higher APR. Plus they did the title paperwork... wrong which resulted in a day wasted at the Department of Motor Vehicles. In addition to the paperwork issues, the service department didn’t ensure the car was ready for sale and won’t make an appointment to fix the issues prior to the 5 Day lemon law. I wouldn’t expect the brakes to squeak and a back door handle coming off within a week of sale of an expensive SUV. As a result, the CarMax team expects me to return a third time for service because they didn’t honor their word that they would get my car into service while I re-did my paperwork. After experiencing multiple paperwork mistakes and service issues, I’ve received a few empty apologies and zero accountability for the mistakes they’ve made. I’m tired of empty apologies and dealing with their passive aggressive manager in the business office. The Carmax team has little to no regard for my wasted time and money due to their incompetence. This will be my last purchase from Carmax and I will make sure my family, friends and coworkers know how disappointed I am with CarMax and the bad service I received.
Carmax has a wide variety of used cars to check out if you are not sure what you want. We found a 2018 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport with less than 8000 miles.... Very nice vehicle that is roomy with lots of cool options. My sales agent was very nice, no pressure and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes to sign the paperwork. I would buy from Carmax again!
Salesman seemed like no clue when asked general questions about vehicles .. Over priced for average in this area market .. Looked other places found better... deals
I had a great experience at Carmax today with the help of Kelsey. Soon I'll be taking a road trip to the east coast and the team in the service department... or very thorough in particular and I feel safe behind the wheel when I make the road trip. You guys are awesome, I am CarMax for life! Sean M
Walter Mountain was my salesman and he was awesome! I love my Chrysler 300 S. Ashley, I hope that's right, walked us through the paperwork and made sure... I understood everything. I chose my car online, they held the car until I could get there from Topeka, KS. We did my financing in advance so once I got there all I had to do was drive the car and sign the paperwork.
I bought a car from them...although i probably shouldnt have... This is like an expensive walmart of car dealerships and you will be treated the same as... well. If you want a more personal experience, i suggest you go to another dealer... I will not go here again.
