I found a car I wanted I was gonna buy it.

I found a car I wanted I was gonna buy it. They wanted to charge me over $1000 to ship the car to my house. I asked if there was a way that we could like work a deal out to work some of the shipping fees and they refused to budge like was stuck on that number wouldn’t go no lower and come to find out. The car wasn’t even worth as much as they were trying to sell it for I would never do business with Carmax

Just recently purchased a Nissan Kicks at the

Just recently purchased a Nissan Kicks at the Independence CarMax, we had previously purchased a Nissan Sentra {about 2 weeks prior) but we found it eventually getting into the vehicle difficult for the age as I am getting older (seventies in my case) the Kicks we have now is a wonderful vehicle. Rick Gross was our salesperson. He did a wonderful job explaining every aspect of our purchase. Matthew and Sharon handle the financial side of our purchase and also was clear on 30-day refund policy and purchase of our Kicks. I would highly recommend this CarMax in Independence; they took time to give us peace of mind on our new Nissan Kicks.

They don’t care about customer service

Went to look at a 2017 Honda Accord, it had dents and scuffs and paint defects. There was a light on fir a tire issue and I didn’t get to see their car until they completed appraising mine, so about 30 mins. I was disappointed that the their car wasn’t as nice as my trade, the Sales Rep agreed. I asked to pay $99 to have on from Texas transferred. In the last 4 days I have left 3 messages and sent an email without a response from anyone about the car. Then today I called the TX location location to find out the car was never requested and is in the process of being sold there. So the fact that even a Manager couldn’t return my call nor was available when I called to get a status is unacceptable. Go elsewhere.

Poor Quality car

No one in the waiting area to direct us. The car we drove was well used. The salesperson was congenial and helpful. Very low price ordered on our trade in.

Great place, highly recommend

There buying process is pretty simple and easy, easier than I thought it would be! And I received great service and have no complaints, plan on buying my next car from them as well!

Okay experience

I was looking for a Toyota Sienna. The at a location a couple hundred miles away. The communication seemed a little cold. I was just told there is a several hundred dollar transfer fee so I went with a different dealership.

Horrible dealer

Don’t waste your time. Way too overpriced. Wanted to buy my nice running and driving car for $500. Was a complete and utter waste of time.

Horrible Experience at Carmax

CarMax Horrible Experience! The business office made errors on my financing paperwork that resulted in a higher APR. Plus they did the title paperwork wrong which resulted in a day wasted at the Department of Motor Vehicles. In addition to the paperwork issues, the service department didn’t ensure the car was ready for sale and won’t make an appointment to fix the issues prior to the 5 Day lemon law. I wouldn’t expect the brakes to squeak and a back door handle coming off within a week of sale of an expensive SUV. As a result, the CarMax team expects me to return a third time for service because they didn’t honor their word that they would get my car into service while I re-did my paperwork. After experiencing multiple paperwork mistakes and service issues, I’ve received a few empty apologies and zero accountability for the mistakes they’ve made. I’m tired of empty apologies and dealing with their passive aggressive manager in the business office. The Carmax team has little to no regard for my wasted time and money due to their incompetence. This will be my last purchase from Carmax and I will make sure my family, friends and coworkers know how disappointed I am with CarMax and the bad service I received.

Great used cars

Carmax has a wide variety of used cars to check out if you are not sure what you want. We found a 2018 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport with less than 8000 miles. Very nice vehicle that is roomy with lots of cool options. My sales agent was very nice, no pressure and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes to sign the paperwork. I would buy from Carmax again!

My experience.. Over priced for avg. Market .....
