Horrible Service

Horrible experience and customer service. Drove 3.5hrs away to get crappy service. Over a half hour before I talked to the desk to ask why I was still sitting there. Wanted me to pay to have my registration shipped to me. Finance manager ridiculed me several times over the warranty and interest rate after explaining to him why. Finance manager also had no problem rushing me through the paperwork but couldnt squeeze me in on a prior day. Receptionists didnt pay attention to simple instructions. No demo of the car; still don't know where half the buttons are.

Great experience second car I have purchased there

Kate in the internet listened to what I wanted and found the car I wanted. Alex in sales was very helpful in closing the sales process and another Alex inn service went over the car's features in grat detail.

Could have been better

Warranty was misrepresented and caused confusion and last minute remedy. Some of the scratches and markings were not buffed out to the extent expected. Could have been better

Welcomed warmly and NO pressure sales !!!!

As a new Subaru customer, we were very impressed with the staff and their caring attention that we received at Ramsey Subaru. Many thanks for the warm welcome and guidance that we received from the 2 girls at the front desk and to all of the knowledgeable, very patient employees who helped us through our purchase of a very nice new replacement for our “ mature “ (28-year-old) Toyota. Thank you again to the following: - Charlie ( our down to earth Salesperson ) - for your special guidance, patience and making sure that our purchase ran smoothly every step of the way with a smile. - Asher ( Finance Manager ) - for the time you took explaining all the financial aspects of our purchase and creating a very calm experience. - Tom ( Product Specialist ) - for spending so much time with us and thoroughly explaining how to operate all of the regular and safety features, buttons, etc. in our new car. - Donnie (Title Specialist ) – for helping with our registration and license plate questions along with the stress relieving jokes. Would Repeat

Pleasant overall. Peter was extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions, was easy to reach and prompt about returning messages and emails. No hassles turning the vehicle over, Alex knew it end to end. Overall the best car dealer experience I've been through, and I'm used t o BMWs, Audis and Minis.

“Stan the Man”

Stan Vasin was “top notch “. Knowledgeable about his product, yet took the time to listen before he spoke. I found that quite refreshing and admirable. He stayed with use throughout the dealership’s process making sure we understood what was going on. Highly recommend Ramsey Subaru and especially Stan Vasin.

***I highly recommend Ramsey Subaru!

***The staff at Ramsey Subaru are very professional and courteous. I could have shopped at a dealership closer to my home, but Ramsey Subaru had the vehicle I wanted. ***My client adviser was a gentleman by the name of Rob Guarino. He was very patient answering all my questions and took me through the negotiation process very carefully. In a matter of weeks going back and forth, I decided to purchase a 2021 Crosstrek. This vehicle is now my third Subaru owned. ***I highly recommend Subaru vehicles and I strongly suggest choosing Ramsey Subaru as the dealership to go to!

Due to COVID my wife wanted the purchase to be remote. Alex handled everything via email and digitally. I didn’t even talk to him until the day I picked up the car. The whole transaction was done over a few day period because I was negotiating with another dealership. In the end Alex gave me a fair price and the car had more than what I was asking for so all good. Great experience and I’d do it again.

Ask for Larry - No pressure sales

We were so fortunate to be paired with Larry, who took us on the best driving tour possible - filled with hills, curves, highways, back roads, and stop signs. - all around the dealership. He was curtious and respectful of the distancing needs during Covid and cleaned seats, desks, and pens when we used them to complete our deal. Larry made this easy and painless without any pressured sales pitches. When you schedule an appointment, be sure to ask for Larry.

TRASHED MY CAR

I had attempted to get the recall done on my 2013 Subaru BRZ back in February of 2018. I had made multiple calls to multiple dealerships to which nobody had appointment available for at least 6 to 8 months. When i had contacted Subaru corporate they recommended I take my vehicle to Ramsey New Jersey to have the recall done on the vehicle since there was an available appointment much earlier. After countless phone calls an appointment was set and the car was dropped off. After being told it would only take two days to have the vehicles recall done, it took three weeks before they had stated my car was not under warranty due to “heavy modifications” which is not the intended reason of it being there. It was also stated to Subaru of America that the intake and exhaust were replaced with manufacture approved after parts made for this vehicle, to which the Subaru of America agent agreed it would not impact the recall issue which caused the damage. I had called July 15th 2019 to see if I could pick up the vehicle since they would not honor the recall, they said it was “ready to be picked up”. Upon arrival at the Ramsey Subaru service Center to pick up my car the motor was not in the vehicles engine bay but it was disassembled and put in my vehicle, no parts were labeled or sorted it was literally tossed into the vehicle in pieces. In the photos that were taken when I had arrived you can see the cars oil, other fluids and bolts/nuts etc. all around the vehicle. Not once did anyone state that the vehicle was “ready to pick up” with the engine disassembled tossed into the car so carelessly. When someone stated it’s ready to be picked up you as a consumer would be under the impression the vehicle would be in the same if not better condition than it was left in. This known recall was the only reason we were sent in to this dealership, they refused service of the recall and ultimately trashed the interior and technically totaled my vehicle.
