Jorgen was just very short in emails and totally unwilling to talk about price at all. It was like he was just copying and pasting the pad answers. Totally... cold and shut the door on any negotiation whatsoever. I guess they aren't that motivated to sell vehicles... I've never dealt with someone at a dealer like this before.
This place is horrible. They lie about financing as well as their cars. The car lot is full of pot holes which are similar to the holes in their “deals”.... Lying thieves—stay away! You have been warned.
Hi to you all. I just bought a car from this dealership. There are several aspects or requirements in a buy/sale car's transaction. The sales person, the... sales manager, the handling of the sales process including a) the car that you might be interested in and b) if you have a trade in, the fairness of the price that you are being offered. Last but not least, there is the financial process if and only if you plan on financing your vehicle. Elite Motors did excellent. In the dealership, I dealt with a gentleman called Craigg Galanti. He was knowledgeable, cordial and were really informed about the vehicle that I wanted. He gave me some advice regarding the vehicle and walk through all the business aspects of our transaction to get certain that I was satisfied. I had bought several vehicles here in Illinois. The experience with Elite were different. These dealership is really trying to satisfied your needs and to make a fair deal. You know, to earn your business but in a balanced way. Craigg didn't push the deal on me but allowed me space to think and considered my options etc... He went out of his way to make the deal happened even when we were going to extend out of the dealership business hours and rushing the financing process because I told him that I wanted to get the car that day. That in itself is different. The other thing is that he delivered, and I got out of the dealership with my new car, that day. This deal was done thanks not only to Craigg who was the sales man, but also to the dealership manager named Mark, who gave a little extra for my trade in in order to make the deal happened. Once I determined that I was going to go through with the deal, he handed over the financing process. The transaction was handled by a lady called Debra Shore who is the business manager at the dealership. She went through all the paper work, explaining in detail what was it that I was signing in detail and the benefits of each and every warranty that I bought and it costs vs the benefits. She is knowledgeable, and makes you feel comfortable in the middle of the process of signing all the papers. She got my loan approved in 10 minutes or less and we went through all the paper work in around 20 minutes! In summary, my experience with Elite Motors was wonderful and probably will go back to buy another vehicle there in the future.
First, Jorgen was a good sales rep. Online, the car appear to be exactly what we were looking for with a fantastic price. We showed up in the car had almost... 2,000 more miles than what was listed on Cars.com. We looked over the mileage and had it inspected at the Ford dealership. The car had some issues that indicated that it had been driven pretty rough for the mileage and it was CANANDIAN. Ford does not honor the same warranty for Canadian cars as it does for American cars. The specifications required for each country are different! Prices for Canadian cars are also cheaper and retailers can sell for a higher markup. Though Anthony seem like a great person to go hang out with at the bar, he wanted to pretend like there was no difference between Canadian and American Ford warranties, would not make any price concessions for the increase in mileage then what was listed online and flatly stated that he was quite excited to be able to drive the car for a few more weeks until it sold. Bottom line, do some heavy research and make sure that you are prepared to walk away if necessary.
Tom Peterson was fabulous to work with. No pressure and very knowledgeable . I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to buy a car ! Thanx Tom for... a very pleasure able experience
we would like to thank everyone at Elite motors for all their help in us getting us our new car. Monica Gonzales and the finance office were very friendly... and extremely helpful. we would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle
Walked in expecting a low approval from them, turns out we got the exact vehicle we were looking for and no down payment! Awesome Store. Be sure to ask... for Tom and Anthony!
Terrible experience. We shopped online for a specific vehicle with specific features. Their dealership seemed to have what we were looking for. We drove... from Wisconsin to Illinois to purchase. I already had been approved for bank loan, explained I didnt want them to run a check. They said fine but I need to sign papers for the Finance Manager in order to get the loan. They ran a credit check using my signature! So now I have multiple inquiries on my credit report all in one day resulting in a huge drop in my score. The vehicle seemed to run fine except for a louder than normal exhaust. We asked if we can get it looked at first. They agreed to have their mechanic look at it. They said larger trucks have louder exhausts. We took their word for it. Fast forward, theres a huge hole in the exhaust manifold! We were sold a warranty eventhough I refused to buy it. They explained it covers everything bumper to bumper minus the bumpers and windshield. I explained we wouldn't purchase a warranty and didn't make sense to come to Illinois for repairs. The finance Manager explained they would tow the truck and give us a courtesy vehicle while repairs are made. We asked about transmission, engine, exhaust, steering, etc. Again, he assured us it was all covered. When we called to let them know there's a hole in the exhaust and we'll need repairs under the warranty they said it's not covered! They also dont have a tow truck and dont provide courtesy vehicles! All a scam to sell xxxxty worthless warranties! DO NOT PURCHASE A WARRANTY! Furthermore, a few specific items we asked for were remote start and a winch. On the website it was listed as included. The keys had a remote starter on it. We drove back to Wisconsin and tried turning it on, guess what, didnt start! I called immediately and notified them. They said they would look to see if a remote was left in the shop. No response. A couple days later called again, they explained it's a used vehicle and they cant guarantee all things are included and working! WHAT THE xxxx DOES THAT MEAN! It's your job to inspect the vehicle when it come into your possession and accurately list it online! We also asked about the winch that wasnt included as well as memory mirrors, spare tire, etc., but was listed in the description. I emailed our sales associate and attached the original ad from their website. He said he's forwarding to a manager and will get back. Countless calls and voicemails went unanswered. A year later still nothing resolved. We are stuck paying out of pocket for all the repairs. We went in person to speak to manager and he said "there's nothing I can do for you brother". And walked away. Everyone there has an attitude, is unprofessional and unable to answer any questions! And the people we need to talk to are never in the office! What the xxxx is that?! Victor works in the service department and is the only one willing to work with us and seems extremely knowledgeable. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALER! They are great upfront when they are making a sale but ghost you as soon as you sign the papers and leave their lot. Anthony the sales manager is the worst!
I went in looking for a car for my daughter. Figured this might be a good place to start as she is young with little credit. We looked at a 13 Honda Civic.... She liked the car but wanted to see something else. The sales person keep insisting this was a perfect fit and after 20 minutes of going over how this was the perfect car he brings up a listing for a 05 Cadillac that was low miles. Which was not in the even close to the specifications of year of car we gave him. After even more time passed my daughter had to go. So as to prevent the car from being sold they wanted a deposit to hold so my husband could look the car over. They wanted 1000 dollars and stated it would be non refundable. I refused. Then they asked for 500. I refused. We settled on 100. My husband went in next day to look it over they were cooperative and allowed him to take the car with him to his work to inspect. Which was great. He found a leaking strut. The car only had 50k miles. My husband told me that shouldn't have that kind of a problem unless the car was driven hard likely hitting potholes often. When he discussed his findings with sales person the sales person said that he'd driven his car for months with that kind of problem and never offered to fix it. My husband advised us to not purchase the car as the listing was 13995 and the KBB value was 11500 for that type of car in good condition. And to make matters worse they did 13 hard inquiries on my credit over two days. Which is very frustrating as I have a solid good credit rating and they told me the first day we were there that it was approved. While it may not make much of an impact on my score 13 banks is unnecessary as these marks remain on my report for 2 years. In short go to a new car dealership as we did likely better car better price and and less hassle. My daughter got a car 2 years newer 20k less miles and 600 cheaper.
