I test drove a 2013 Honda Odyssey back in August.

I test drove a 2013 Honda Odyssey back in August. After the test drive, I put down a $1000 deposit on the condition that it pass an independent inspection. The salesman assured me it was a refundable deposit. The inspection revealed some minor issues that should have been caught in the 150-point inspection they said they performed - loud squealing on ignition from the rusted tensioner assembly and a 15-degree misalignment. Not big things. I asked Elite motors if they would fix the issues before I purchase the car. They wanted to charge me $250. I said I didn't want to have hundreds of dollars in unexpected repairs before the car was off the lot. They offered to make the repairs for $225. I asked for my deposit back. At this point they ghosted me. I couldn't reach anyone for two days until finally the salesman texted back that his manager now says the deposit is non-refundable. I called repeatedly and couldn't get anyone on the phone. One salesman finally picked up - he seemed sympathetic but unable to help. He kept saying he would get more info and call back in 10 or 15 minutes but I would wait for hours to hear anything. I called repeatedly without success until another sales manager, Joseph, answered. He immediately started yelling at me and told me I could "take the f***ing car or lose my thousand dollars." He also said that Elite Motors only performs the minimum amount of repairs required by law and that he isn't obligated to fix those issues. After a few minutes of heated exchange, he hung up on me. I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. It took several weeks to resolve, during which time I received one call from someone at Elite Motors, who left a voicemail and never called back, while I made more than 100 calls trying to get someone on the phone to resolve the issue. They misrepresented the quality of the vehicle and the work they did on it. They lied about refunding my deposit. They made no real effort to communicate with me. They tried to steal my money.

Called day before asked to have vehicle prepared for my

Called day before asked to have vehicle prepared for my inspection. I drove and hour and half to see this vehicle. I arrived to find a filthy vehicle crammed between vehicles. Pulled out to find easily 7k in damage ranging from body to paint to interior defects.. Exhast clamps rattling and not secured on start up. Was told by the sales manager that I need to lower my standards it's a used vehicle...... salesman was cool. I told him the manager is going to blow this deal. I made a appropriate offer, was rejected the sales manager wouldn't budge enouraged me to find its similae online and they would match it. I did and for 4k less. The manager denied it was the same vehicle and refused to budge from the excellent perfect shape price. I walked away after my second offer was rejected, and bought a matching vehicle that day for 7500 less. Glad they tried to screw me. Turned out in my favor.

A great experience

I’ve purchased many cars Quinton by far the easiest and most knowledgeable person to work with. His passion in the car industry and it shows - he doesn’t mess around with cars that have any red flags or cut corners when it comes to selling high quality, solid cars at a good price. I felt he had my best interests in mind, wasn’t pushy or aggressive whatsoever. Highly recommend working with Quinton to buy your next vehicle!

Jay was a wonderful sales person. Personable, patient and knowledgeable. Need to fix vending machines. The process took a bit, would be nice to have some snack options!

False advertising

Miss informed of price of vehicle on 2 different websites, they stated it was a mistake even though it was confirmed before we made the 1 hour and 40 min drive. The price was posted on 10/21/23 plenty time to change price since today is 10/24/23. This seems like a plan to get people in to their dealership. Poor business practices should have up held the price considering it was on their website stating no haggle pricing. Doug and Lenny were the contacts and Erica was the one that stated vehicle was available and to come make drive that car was available at that mileage and price and what time could we be there by, even said promotion on gift card given that they are offering. Truthfully who cares about a gift card it more about honesty and integrity for me who conducts business like this. Completely unprofessional, understand mistakes happen but to not be accommodating and only offer a $1,000 off for their mistake is truly a slap in the face for 4 plus hours of wasted time. Price is still posted incorrectly as of now!

Hidden fees show up on purchase contract

Car was listed for $19,500 but received purchase contract and it added $1099 for "paint", $500 for "vin etch", $1000 for "platinum combo" and $399 for "gps." I asked for these items to be removed as the $19500 purchase price was listed "price of car as equipped" but was told they can add these fees at their discretion.

I tried to contact this dealership about a certain car

I tried to contact this dealership about a certain car three times and never received a reply. I checked multiple times about said car, as it remained for sale on the site. In sales, I would tend to follow any/all leads. It seemed, as though, they were not interested in selling their inventory.
