I had an amazing experience at this Toyota dealership! From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly and professional. A big shoutout to Luis Varela who helped me find the perfect car. He was knowledgeable, patient, and really listened to what I was looking for. Thanks to Luis, I drove away in a great car that fits my needs and budget perfectly. Went in for a simple oil change When I got home and really looked at the bill I find they added an extra 10% charge for "shop supplies" Why not "toilet paper" or "depreciation on the lifts" or "contribution to managers bonus". Very sad. I'll be telling everyone, just for fun. Silliest part is that the car is 13 years old and I started looking to replace it, and now they've lost me as a potential customer. Never got the shop report either, though that's irrelevant now.

D2ONT BUY YOUR CAR HERE, they sold me a 4runner that
D2ONT BUY YOUR CAR HERE, they sold me a 4runner that broke down 1000 miles after I bought it Noone offered to pay for it but when I wanted to trade it in they were down to make the switch, failing to tell me Im on the line for a car I never made a payment now I owe over 50 grand on a 30 grand car and i put 10k down all my dads life insurance on it so I didn't get buried on a car payment, they buried me anyways, because of their failure to inspect their cars, negligent service and they're service department is full of petty thieves who steal things as miniscule as the mats on your car go ANYWHERE ELSE but here can't give them 0 stars but even 0 isn't accurate

Still waiting to hear about the vehicle. I inquired about. They sent me information on a vehicle that I had no interest in claiming the the correct information wasn't available. That's what they said last week. I'm starting to think that the vehicle they posted was a hook 🤔

An overall great service experience when ever my out of warranty Lexus needs service. Comfortable and clean lounge areas with plush chairs for waiting and plenty of connections for laptops or phones if you need to do some work while waiting. I always work with Darryl who does an exceptional job for me. He’s very professional as well as being personable. Ask him anything about the work that needs to be done and he always has the correct answer. Darryl is one of the reasons I keep coming back to Elgin Toyota

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU ESPECIALLY IF YOU A SINGLE WOMAN. Went here twice for an oil change on my 2022 Rav 4. The first time I was with my husband and the second time I went alone. Curiously when I went alone there was a laundry list of things “wrong” with my car including them claiming the oil pan was missing. Manager refuse to talk to my husband was he called wanting clarification. Went to Pauly Toyota in Crystal Lake and they said everything check out great! Oil pan was not missing. DO NOT GO TO ELGIN TOYOTA!!!!

Beyond disappointed and frustrated with our experience at
Beyond disappointed and frustrated with our experience at this dealership today. We booked an appointment on July 16 to purchase the car we were interested in. I clearly said the vehicle we wanted and some of the terms I wanted to discuss, and the person I spoke to indicated she had recorded my requests. The confirmation email said “We will have the vehicle(s) you are interested in waiting for you.” Our appointment was at 9:30am on July 17. We drove over an hour from Chicago for our appointment. When we got in, we were seen by a different representative than we’d scheduled the appointment with because the original one wasn’t coming in that day until 1pm (so it was odd that they’d scheduled an appointment with her in the first place). After waiting for 10-15 minutes for the paperwork, we were told that the car we had come in to purchase was being looked at by different people at that very moment. Are you serious? The manager told us that cars are looked at on a first-come-first-serve basis. That was not what was communicated to us before. The email and my communication on the phone while making the appointment indicated that the car would be waiting for us. It seemed that as we were sitting waiting, the car was being shown to someone else. Unbelievably poor communication and service. I honestly cannot believe that that just happened. They told us we could “wait and see” if the other people decided to buy the car. Are they kidding? Are we supposed to sit in a dealership waiting all morning while the car we’d made an appointment to purchase is being test driven by another couple?? Everything is also very slow at this dealership. When we came in on Monday, the two representatives we saw knew none of the answers to our questions - every time we asked something, they’d leave for 10-15 minutes to check, then return, only to have to leave again to get the answer to another question. Luckily this won’t matter for us again in the future because we will not be returning to this dealership and we recommend you don’t either.
