we brought our 04 jeep grand cherokee in for repairs,cost of over 800. without our consent, the jeep started having problems again in oct. the work was... done in feb. they reattached to rocker arms, we brought it back and they would not guarantee the mechanics work, only the parts that were new. he said the car was old. 2004 and they never told us that this would probably happen again! horrible service! i can not believe that that do not guarantee their mechanics work, Yikes
I was nervous about purchasing a new vehicle, but never felt pressure to do so. Our salesman, Mark, was great.. as were the rest of the sales team. Purchased my '06 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab in June of this year... Drove 6 hours to purchase the vehicle after I had my cousin in Duluth test drive it. Also... test drove it when I got there, if it wasn't what I was told it was, I had a check to go anywhere else from Duluth back to Valley City, ND and would have had no problem finding a truck on the way home. Everything seemed to be great! Engine was quite and smooth, it was a great looking truck... Two and a half weeks later my overdrive clutch went out. Brought it to my mechanic at home only to find out both my front U joints were out, and I had a small leak in the radiator. Called up Dan, the salesman that sold me the truck, informed him of everything that was wrong, he said he would have to talk to his supervisor and call me back. He did, and informed me of my AS IS no warranty... Ya ok NOT a smart move on my part.. but there is this thing called common courtesy... or so i thought. They informed me the only way they would do anything out of "good will" would be for me to haul the truck back to Duluth for them to look at it, and even then couldn't guarantee they would fix any of the issues for me.. great customer service right there... dealt with phone calls back and forth for the next few days until they decided to stop calling me back... called them a few times and left messages for them to return my calls... nothing... at this point the truck has been in the shop almost 50% of the time since I bought it. Pretty sure I would NEVER recommend this place for any purchases.. if this is the way you are going to treat your customers who spends thousands of dollars to get a vehicle you personally guaranteed them was in "tip top" shape... thanks for a whole lot of nothing...
We are sorry that you had problems with your truck. You did purchase a vehicle with over 169,000 miles on it and we would have gladly taken a look at ...it if you had brought it in. Any time you buy a vehicle without a warranty you do take a risk of it needing something. We do offer extended service plans in these cases. You also had someone else check the vehicle out prior to your purchase. We are truly sorry that you have had problems.
a family of 5 plus one cat, money is not easy to come by and to be in need of a van to fit the hole family in was a must and having problems meeting the... criteria or the money for a down payment until we went to duluth dodge. they not only worked with us to make a deal that fit or needs and money situation. now my family of 5 have the van we needed but also got the van we wanted! thankful for you, the madison family:)
