After visiting at least 10 dealerships across a bunch of brands, we chose to purchase our XC60 Recharge from Scott. The sales rep we worked with, Howard D., was excellent in his explaining why Volvo is the car we should choose. He went into great detail, calling on his deep knowledge and expertise in Volvo, about the features and functions—as well as the differences in trim levels—of the 5-seater SUV. Not only do I recommend Scott for a Volvo purchase, I recommend Howard as the sales rep to help you decide what model best fits your needs. Howard also very clearly explained how to best take advantage of price incentives, and federal rebates. So while he was so effective in selling us a brand new XC60, he also greatly helped us save money in the process!

Best Car Buying Experience I have ever had

I typically don’t write reviews but just had to do so after my recent experience with Karissa at Scott Volvo. I really struggled with this decision on which car to buy as I had been driving a previous brand for many years and was comfortable, loved the service and had no complaints. I went to look at the XC90, not even intending to buy it and absolutely loved it. The google voice, spacious console interior, simplicity of design and overall quality of workmanship was great and it drove beautifully. Karissa at Scott was so knowledgeable and when I mentioned that I was struggling with my decision she said take the car home and see if you like it. I often struggle with new technology and the Volvo technology is so intuitive, additionally the car manual is on the screen and anything you need to find you can search and hover over a hot spot and it’s all there. I also had a hard time deciding on the particular color and the car with the exact specification had to be brought in from Virginia which Karissa facilitated with patience and efficiency, even giving me a new loaner in the process.. The whole buying process took less than an hour which was also something I was not used to. Karissa and Todd are truly the best sales team I have ever worked with and went out of their way to make my buying experience extraordinarily.

Greedy

Do yourself and shop around! Their prices are all over the place on used vehicles. Greed at its finest and their pricing logic is poor. Buyer beware!

Great Experience in Purchase and Service

I purchased a pre-owned certified vehicle Ed Hall. When I saw the car online I called about it, and everything Ed said about the car was true. I bought the vehicle I still have it two years later, and I have it serviced by Volvo. Josh and the other service guys are excellent and they are very knowledgeable. Scott dealerships is more than accommodating when it comes to making sure that you're treated correctly. Overall I'm very satisfied in a world where nothing is perfect, and the people at Scott dealerships go the extra mile to make my experience a good one! When I upgrade I'll be buying another Volvo and hopefully through at Ed Hall!

Horrible Customer Service

"Constant argument with Service advisor, Josh, to get any kind of appointment or loaner car with any of my 3 Volvos. I had to call to get any kind of update on my Volvo in shop and they were annoyed to talk to me about my car. After 5 days of my most recent Volvo being in the shop for a 1 hour repair, they installed a completely different dash than was in my car prior, and said that was the way it was going to be. Curt, service manager, called me once it was done, with no prior warning that they used a different dash, and told me to come pick it up. Curt said that if I had any questions, I should talk to the tech, otherwise there is nothing he would do. Horrible customer service each time I've been in there, 3 times is enough, I will never go back... avoid at all costs!! "

Really?

The Chevy Colorado I bought didn't have a keyless remote, so instead of getting me one when I asked if they could they told me I had to buy one through the parts dept at over $150.00....Really? Would have given them 5 stars had they come through for me.

best shopping experience and dealer

Just bought a 2014 chevy cruze from the Scott Lot. Our third purchase from this dealer and they are so pleasant to work work with. No high pressure at all. My husband wanted a RS model and since one was sold right before we got to try it, Scott searched for another for us with no obligation to buy. We checked it out and ended buying the LT model. Love the pep and styling the cruze has and I got it in my favorite color ! Staff was wonderful to work with and very easy going process. If you need more time to decide, no problem. We appreciated them going out of their way to please. Why shop anywhere else.

drove down to look at a car they had for sale , they treated me like royalty, Keven is a pleasure to deal with , I did not buy the car but it was a great experience and I actually feel bad that I did not buy it because they treated me so good. In the future if there ever was a car that they had that I was interested in I would not hesitate to drive from the Scranton area to look at it. all I can say is I give them 5 stars !
