Do not trust them when buying a used car. They told me they completed all the necessary maintenance including transmission service that needs to be done every 40k. I brought it into a different shop and found that the service had never been done, the filters were all dated 6 years prior. Had I not double checked them and kept driving I would have been out thousands of dollars when the transmission failed because they lied. I called them, giving them the benefit of the doubt that people make mistakes some times and they were very apologetic, said they wanted to make it right and cover the cost. 3 Months later and multiple follow up emails and they have gone radio silent. Would never trust them to buy a car or use them for service again.

My elderly deaf mom bought a low mileage 2014 jetta. Was dropped off with a bad tire. Now it won't start. She put 7 miles on it....seven...now owner wants us to tow it 70 miles. And was rude on the phone to me. Called me an idiot. Don't be an idiot and buy from Meister Imports.

Wow, if you get a chance and shopping for a car, give this place a try. John Alsteen was honest and very helpful. Not only that, a huge supporter of victims of domestic violence. I saw this first hand as they assisted this person, walked her through the process, explained what everything meant and got her a great deal to get her back on her feet in a car she could truly afford WITHOUT pushing anything more. The lobby was clean and had a variety of complimentary drinks. I was most happy they had a keurig with an option of dark hot chocolate and not just coffee as I waited. Thank you Meister Imports John (and Scott) for being there and truly listening to your customer's. A good hometown feel appeal than just a standards car salesman.

Very friendly and easy to work with. Minimal waiting. By far the best deal for the used car I got within 100 miles. Great selection of used import vehicles.

The experience I had when selling my car was made exceptional at the very least when dealing with John and Steve. Their communication was clear and continuous, their process was honest and fair, and they're willing to take the time to ensure the entire experience is smooth and fast. I would return to them for any need I might have, as I know I can trust them in any regards.

I've had my Audi A8 serviced twice at Meister, by far one of the most honest places I've ever had any car I owned serviced. Both visits saved me over a $1000.00 in costs that I would have likely absorbed if I had taken my vehicle elsewhere. I will continue to use Meister for future repairs/service and purchase my next vehicle thru them as well. Thanks to a fabulous local family business!

The staff at Meister is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Service is excellent for a better-than-dealer price. After recommendation from a local Michigan VW dealer to change my rear stabilizer links, Meister took a look and gave me the honest assessment that they were still functioning properly instead of changing them unnecessarily. They were also willing to provide advice for doing repairs on my own and sold me the new parts I needed for a fair price. I live in MI, but haven't been able to find a comparable shop nearby; I still bring my VW in for service when I visit family in the area. The new facility looks great, and I'm glad to see this place growing. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a new or used VW/Audi!

Don't call when they say they will and then hold your car longer then you have plans(huge inconvenience of which they showed no interest or sympathy) and make excuses for incompetents. Overall I felt slighted and taking advantage of and when asking questions I got a smug reaction from a sales person who looks at you as if you dont know a thing and should allow them to overcharge for things they haven't even fixed. The service took 2 days of which only 1 was planned. We Left there with the same problem as when we arrived and still had a 380 dollar bill. This was a VW and for a place that claims specialty over the rest they showed less knowledge when confronted then my 2yrs son. This was a terrible experience for us and I hope this helps people realize specialty doesn't always hold true and to do some more research on where you go before you repeat our mistake.
