At best, Purcellville Motors is disorganized and unreliable. At worst, they are outright untrustworthy. Literally within the first 24 hours of purchase, the check engine light came on. I took the car to several different mechanics, and apparently, the catalytic converter was in terrible condition. I took the car back to the dealership within the first 24 hours of purchase. They insisted the car "would still run fine" and it "wasn't anything to be concerned about." However, in order to abide by law the catalytic converter needs to be in decent condition in order to pass emissions testing that is required by law. The car was sold with bad parts to begin with, and the problem was never resolved when I brought it back TWICE within the first week of purchase. They tried to downplay the seriousness of the issue by giving me catoclean, repeatedly clearing the check engine light code, and insisting that the catalytic converter isn't really important to replace. Two different local mechanics told me that they felt the code reader "had been messed with." Three different mechanics told me that Purcellville Motors does not have the best reputation when it comes to "having what they say they have." Other major parts were bad within 3 months of ownership and less than 5,000 miles put on the vehicle. Registration paperwork was filled incorrectly and late, costing me time and money with the DMV and two Treasurer's offices. I am writing this review because purchasing a car at Purcellville Motors was a huge mistake that cost me a great deal of money and time in addition to all kinds of extra stress. I hope that this review will prevent another person from having to go through what I did. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP

Highly recommend Purcellville Motors Inc.
Great business and great guys to work with! I purchased an older model Honda Accord from them as I needed a car to just get me through for about a year. It's going on three years now, and it's still running great, with just keeping up with basic maintenance. I think it's more than fair to say that they have safe and reliable vehicles on their lot. There are no pushy sales tactics at all, zero! After spending weeks of used car searching in the Northern VA area and beyond, I realized I could have prevented all of that running around by just going here first, and a couple miles from my house. Highly recommend!

Purchased 325xi, worth the 1000 mile drive
I drove over to VA from Minnesota to check out a great deal on a bmw 325xi they had on their lot. Bob was great to deal with, went the extra to make it a smooth purchase. Nice little town and great place to visit.
