We just recently bought a car from West Coast Auto and could not have had a better experience! I called to check if the car I found online was still available, they answered quickly and confirmed it was. They had the car ready for us to view and test drive shortly after. We decided to purchase it and the entire process was fairly quick and easy considering all that comes with purchasing a new car. Our salesman Moe was very kind and helpful from start to finish! A very pleasant experience overall!

This dealership is tacking on an "accessory fee" to the price of their cars. I was ready make a deal that day but they would not remove the $2999 accessory fee that I did not want/need. They felt that was more important than making a sale. Do not waste your time. Honest dealerships will not require you to pay this fee to purchase the car.

I called the Westcoast Auto Sales dealership in the morning. Sales person said that they had the vehicle verified by stock number. They also verified the price as advertised. I drove an hour and 20 minutes to the location. After checking out the vehicle and deciding we wanted to purchase it. Then they said it’s gonna be $4500 additional to the the price and that it was mandatory on top of it to include paint protection and leather protection for a vehicle that did not have leather. False advertising, and classic bait and switch. I gave it a ridiculous one star because zero stars is unavailable. goodbye forever West Coast auto sales. Everyone beware!

Found a car, spoke with a salesman and test drove it (multiple times) and when we sat down to finance, I was told that the additional "options" including a GPS Tracker, Theft Deterrent, and Appearance Package, each priced at $1,495 were mandatory. This added an extra 4500 to the car (they went down to 2990) but still 3k more than the advertised price. Their website says options, as in optional, not mandatory. Be prepared to pay thousands more than the advertised price. This business is not accredited by the BBB and there are plenty of complaints for this very reason.

The advertised price is not really the price of the car due to Westcoast Auto Sales installing GPS, Anti-Theft, and Interior-Exterior protection packages. Buyer be ware! Classic bait and switch.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! We traveled quite a distance to check out a 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness that was advertised at $24,799 and as a Black Friday deal at Westcoast Auto Sales. There was also an advertised 'manager's special' price as well. We took the vehicle out for a test drive and we liked it. We wanted to strike a deal. We asked what the Manager's Special price was. We were told the price is what is advertised, no Manager's Special price. Ok, not a deal breaker. Then the salesman tells us the advertised price is not really the price of the car. It's actually $4400 more (!) due to Westcoast Auto Sales installing GPS, Anti-Theft, and Interior-Exterior protection packages. We said we didn't want those items, can you please remove them? They said no, they are part of the car now and must be paid for in addition to the advertised price. This was a classic bait and switch. I don't know if what they did is a legal tactic, but I would tell anyone considering purchasing a car from these scammers to take their business elsewhere.

They do not do well with online purchases, if you’re not a resident of California. The experience was not a good one.

This dealership is a SCAM! Dealerships post these “too good to be true” prices just to get their cars to the top of search results. It’s fake bait. When I went in to buy a car that was advertised on sale, the MANGER flat out refused to honor it. Instead, he claimed the sale price was a mistake and pulled the car from the market all because I didn’t agree to pay an additional $5,000 for an accessory package. This package is nothing more than a profit grab. They’ll tell you they’ll “discount” it by $500–$1,500 depending on how much they think they can squeeze out of you, because the advertised price is supposedly a “losing deal” for them. I get that this is a business, but there’s no excuse for hiding behind bait and switch tactics. Be upfront, be transparent, and treat customers with respect. To be quite frank, these are the worst people I have ever had to deal with. And the manager is the most unprofessional person I have ever met in my life, telling me to “get the F*** out of my place.” I would not send my worst enemy here. At the end of the day, you’re honestly better off buying new directly from Tesla than wasting your time with these shady operators.

Buyers beware! This is by far one of the worst car dealerships I have ever encountered. They advertise low prices to lure you in, but once you’re there, they try to tack on nearly $5,000 worth of packages you never asked for. When we refused, they told us the listed price was a “mistake” and refused to honor it. Hours later, they claimed they would remove the ad, yet the same price remains online to trap the next victim. I made the mistake of taking my daughter with me, which turned into a complete embarrassment. The way we were treated was beyond disrespectful—no honesty, no integrity, no professionalism whatsoever. It felt like a total scam operation. Save yourself the frustration, the wasted time, and the humiliation. Stay far away from this dealership. They are not here to serve customers, only to deceive them.

The advertised price is a lie! They advertise the low price to be at the top of people’s vehicle searches (fake eye candy). Then they mention that there is a required $5000.00 accessory package that they will discount 500-1500 depending on their bottom line as the advertised price is a loosing deal for them. Some of the accessories are complete non sense like a gps tracker on a Tesla. I understand you are running a business but be upfront and do business honestly. With everything said you are better off buying new than dealing with these terrible operators and your actually getting a much better deal buying new.
