Car Shopping

Went to this dealership two consecutive days inquiring about vehicles. Both times the salesman refused to work any numbers at all with me. I thought car dealerships were in the business to sell cars which is why I am still baffled by this dealerships approach. Surely he had to know I was interested since I returned the very next day. Your loss is another dealerships gain. Poor service and completely out of touch with selling cars.

Good service after the sale.

I was helping my daughter choose her first car. After calling first to verify they had the inventory advertised, we traveled about an hour from Morgantown. There was a nice selection of the Subaru model we were interested in all at prices significantly lower than we could find in our town. We drove a lot of cars that day and were never pressured by the salesman, Joe. The prices were fair and set. Appreciated not feeling like we had to haggle. Be aware they do buy all these cars from auction and don't know anything specific about them other than the carfax data. The model we chose did have an accident on record. We took the vehicle to a collision specialist who said the repair was done perfectly with no structural damage of concern. Within a few weeks of our purchase, the car developed a battery problem..... recurrent rapid draining whenever left parked for a few days. George's told my daughter to go immediately to Advance Auto Parts and charge a new battery to their account. It saved her the hassle of a trip back to the dealership and the car has been great since. Anyone can sell you an "as is" car. The fact they seemed to car about my daughter having safe and reliable transportation meant a lot to us. Only reason I gave "facilities" a poor rating is that they actually do not offer a bathroom for customers.

Terrible service and incompetence

Called ahead in buying 1 of 2 cars. Salesman Joe had no information initially but was tempted by lower price. Drove nearly 2 hours and neither car was ready. Joe again didn't have any more information and didn't even know where cars were. Test drive one car but second car was boxed in and no effort made to allow for a test drive. Joe then gave a quote on wrong car. Dealership doesn't offer CarFax. After inspection, I could see that car had some prior damage. Very disappointed.

PMcGuireConsulting, I remember your visit to our dealership, but it was much different than you noted on your review. Joe was very attentive to your requests from start to finish. He quoted you several prices, answered your questions and showed you multiple vehicles. He also gave you additional quotes when you called after leaving. I am sorry you felt that our service was not meeting your needs that day. Good luck in your vehicle search.

Definitely Five Stars

If you're looking for a newer model pre-owned car, you can't beat the prices or quality of the cars at George's. I recommend this auto dealership to everyone I know, who is on a car search. Joe was an excellent salesman to work with, doing his best to set me up with the car I wanted.

Used car purchased

We recently bought a used vehicle and they were very helpful showed us four or five different vehicles that we were interested in and seemed very knowledgeable on each car we were looking at I will definitely go there and buy another vehicle

Update to Previous Review ~ No pressure, no ...

As my previous review stated, my experience at GTP was great other than a hiccup with keys that costed me some additional money. Less than an hour after seeing my review, George reached out to fix the issue. I was very pleased with his quick and fitting response, which is why I have updated my ratings to reflect the exceptional customer service even after the sale had been finalized. I will definitely consider GTP in the future the next time I need a car.

No pressure, no games, but...no advertised keys

Overall, my experience at GTP was pleasant. For the positives: The car I wanted was priced fairly, and the offer on my trade was at least ball-park to what was expected. The salesmen did not linger, and there was no pressure to buy anything. For the negatives: The car was advertised with keyless entry, yet no keyless entry fob was provided,(was told they did not have upon purchase)only received a loose key...this is now costing me $250+ to obtain after the fact (Over $135 per keyfob), which has taken a great experience and turned it into an average one. Also, the car came unwashed and with only a quarter tank of gas. When asked about whether either would be done since many dealers provide these two things upon purchase, the response was no and no.

Great experience!

Was able to quickly get the car I was interested, gentleman I worked with was great (thanks Joe!), trade in on my car was a fair price. All in all no complaints!
